My family from out of state came into town. My dad and I started looking for some hackles or fluffs to finish up a bustle. I took them to storm cloud, everything that we were looking at the owner was right there over our shoulders being condescending, forcefully intruding in our conversation about not touching things, put things back in place and how all items in here “have a home-a specific place” while my dad and I were talking trying to figure out what colors to pick, we tried our best to ignore or not entertain her behavior and way of approaching us... My dad was looking at some tools, he needs readers mind you, and he grabbed a set to read and see if that was what he was looking for and the owner grabbed them and said “don’t take my displays if you want this I can grab it from the back”. I could not tolerate her treating and talking to my dad and family (and myself) in that way, zero mannerisms so we spoke up. Very unwelcoming, we were literally being followed throughout the entire store. We just left the store and didn’t even bother to buy what we needed. It’s a shame and embarrassing to have my family experience that....
Read moreIf you’re bipoc don’t go in here. If you aren’t don’t go in here. This was our first (and last) time going here with my white gal friend. We were looking at the sale section. When we were going over clearance prices on their loose beads. The lady working saw that we were figuring out prices. She then chimed in on us raising her voice about bead sizes in the most disrespectful, condescending and rude manner. We immediately put back the beads and said, “let’s leave.” On the way out she accused us of stealing beads from the store. My forehead was hot at this point from being profiled on such a beautiful spring day. I took out the bag that we had from purchasing magazines across the street at the thrift store, turned it upside down on the counter and emptied our pockets. The embarrassment set on her face and we walked out of the store for the first and last time ever.

Read moreWow. Got bad service twice today including here. it truly was incredible how little the workers wanted business. Came in 5 minutes before close, on a whim. I always have bought from fire mountain. The 2 workers were complaining that they had a hard day working 8:30-5. I won't pity someone that feels like that shift is a hard shift. Don't be a whimp, suck it up and be nice. Based on previous reviews, they really need to work on their manners. I guess I'm going back to fire mountain. Edit:I can understand wanting to have time for your family, I have worked in customer service for many years. But that is never an excuse to be rude to someone. It was totally uncalled for. Why do you feel the need to be rude to so many customers? What have we done to you to deserve it? I just wanted a couple beads as a gift for my mom on her birthday. The entire sale could have been done during the time you spent complaining. Sort out your mental health/happiness before dealing with the...
