I went Into this location on 1 June and while I have Shopped at this sporting goods store multiple times i can honestly say this was probably my best experience. From the moment i walked in i was greeted with smiles from a multiple people consisting of specifically Rachel and Nate E. I then made my way back to the fishing isle as I was in need of a new fishing rod and reel combo and I met a person whom belonged there. A gentlemen named Tony answered my questions regarding what I was looking for and the best possible rod and reel combo they had available. I am by no means an expert fisherman so having an experts advice was something truly helpful. Tony was able to discuss monofilament line vs braided line and also able to talk to me about the correct rod i wanted As i am Looking to catch my son his first shark this summer from the surf. He is a great gem at this store. From this point i needed to go complete my purchase and was fortunate enough to have Nate E. And Rachel assist me. Now i know it usually should only take one person but both of them helped make all the difference especially when i forgot to mention a coupon I had And they had to re-ring the transaction. Nate E. Offered me a credit card and explained all the Values of it but when i declined He said okay and was not pushy at all. Additionally, he offered me a warranty on my both my Rods so if they break i can get reimbursed. I purchased The warranty on my more expensive rod and when i had Questions Rachel was fast to answer. Jaime was lead manager in the sneaker area ,he was really kind,patient & overall made a really strong effort to hear me (low voice due to voice surgery I’ve had). Never became irritated or nasty not hearing me well. Reggie up front register was just as amazing but unfortunately due to receipt mixup issues or possible post return days, he worked really hard & tried everything possible before we both figured over via dicks app that I could not return for store credit but he still kindlj with patience most wouldn’t have! He spent close to 15-20 never once upset. These 2 deserve raises& elevated status but what brought down review from 5 to 4 is how the front female manager treated me. I had given Reggie ok to find my app via my phone but she grabbed from him not once asking if that was okay with me (even my 11 year old mentioned it to me outside ) so I’m not sure what she did or ddnt do while trying to retrieve my emails& entire time not once smiling, acting as if I was invisible not even directly speaking to me so her attitude will keep me away from that store & unfortunately they have great employees with great customer people skills as Jaime & Reggie but the front acting manager on Tuesday afternoon needs some coaching! I like this particular location because it's never over crowded in here the only thing is I wish that the prices were a little bit less on a lot of items as I believe the tennis shoes here are very overpriced many of the shoes I saw here we're well over $150 which I thought was too much to pay you for tennis shoes or any sort of sneaker! They have a great selection for any sort of sport or outdoor activities that you're into from camping to fishing, hiking, swimming and even team sports such as football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer and many different water sports available as well! I always go to this establishment when I'm looking for something for the gym such as weight belts, gloves, even complete weight sets are available here along with the bicycles in the back which they have a wide selection of and I have my eye on a few of those, they even provide assembly services for bicycles with all the accessories to choose from.
