Summer signals bright, fresh home and garden decor as well as some Halloween season items creeping in at "Buy the Season." Folks here pay homage to the seasons with both vintage items and vintage look- a-likes. I especially like the good quality of old-time-looking greenery and floral picks. Consignment booths in this popular outlet trend toward both handmade and neatly refinished vintage furniture in country- and farmhouse-style. There is a good selection of holiday home decor accessories from which to choose in both consignment booths and store owned areas. Store buyers have expanded the amount and kinds of vintage-style candles and seasonal light strings on display near the main entrance. Shoppers can sign up at the check-out desk for notices of special sales and display events. Store policy strongly suggests wearing masks while in the store. Aisles are wide enough that those with assistive devices should have little problem navigating the store. Looking at items in the consignment booths is problematic. For serious browsing it is best to have an agile companion. Except for the busiest of days, accessible parking should not be a problem. Parking near the main entrance is plentiful and the parking...
Read moreThis is a wonderful place to shop for gifts, holiday decorations, home decor, collectibles, books, toys, furniture, DVDs, antiques, and flea market like finds. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a great place to spend an hour or two because they have such a large and varied group of items for sale. You can pretty much find something for everyone here. There is also a small eatery here with great food and a place sit down and enjoy your meal or feel free to take out. They also offer amazing desserts and baked goods. I enjoy the bookstore booth the most. It offers a huge variety of books. They have hard backs, paperbacks, a huge selection of children's books for all ages, a devotional section, history, collectibles, military books, books about pets and wildlife, horticulture, gardening, popular novels by popular authors, and a vast section of cookbooks, craft books for quilting, crochet, cross-stitch, painting, and for just about any craft you can think of. They even have signed and first edition books. This store is well worth visiting. It is by far the best seller of new and second-hand items in the Roanoke, VA area and they are open 7...
Read moreIf I could give this business zero stars I would. They blamed us for their own incompetency. My family was communicating with a booth owner on Facebook about a piece of furniture she listed, and she said that we could buy it when the store opened the next morning and gave us details about pickup. When we got to the store the next morning, the women at the front said they put it on hold for someone else. I showed them the messages, and they didn’t care. They belittled my mom about the situation, and refused to call the booth owner about it. We drove an hour to come get the piece. I don’t recommend shopping here due to horrible customer service, the store’s lack of communication with booth owners, and their incompetency in...
