Now Then and Again — Local services in Salem

This place is adorable. I have read all the wonderful reviews and I agree! There are about 100 vendors~ WOW. And I know how hard it is to be a seller in a place like this, I did it before and its not easy or very profitable. People think you go buy stuff and mark it up, but that isn't how it works. These people work hard to find unique items. They spend their time their gas and their money on a booth, they decorate the booth and they have to pay a commission to the owners. I think for all of that, the prices are incredibly reasonable especially when there is a sale! The prices here are so much less than all the other shops in town especially BDS. I will always shop here first for unique gifts. The only thing I will say is that there is too much old fashioned furniture in there. It looks like old lady's. I am young and I like more of a fun look. But I guess they cater to that type...

My opinion about this store is there's about 40 different people in one shop I think what they're doing is going to these Goodwill's yard sales and getting the stuff for cheap and then putting it in their store and putting a big price on it and half the stuff is wore down like their pocketbooks their Coach purses they wanted $90 for one Coach purse that have been wore used tared, I mean I wouldn't recommend this store to someone my age maybe older women like 50s or 60s but I wouldn't recommend this store but we all got...

First of all, we were greeted at the door with a boisterous hello. Secondly, the prices for most of the merchandise are ridiculously low! I purchased beautiful set of dishes for only $26 as I saw on Amazon and elsewhere for SO much higher!! Beautiful antiques, some in mint condition, for a steal!!
