Been far from civilization for awhile so when I saw a Panera, I just had to stop in for a hazelnut coffee ☕ in the lobby it was empty so I asked for them to please bring more out. Usually they have a refill ready to bring out and exchange empty pot, they didn't have one ready and also they usually have a pot for drive thru but they were out also. So I waited for it to brew. Not a huge deal. I did however notice while waiting a young lady just got off work she was putting her lid on her drink on the way out and spilt soda on counter and floor, she looked at it and just walked out. Not a good worker if you ask me. I also came again a day later while I was in town and coffee was great, but Really Disappointed in the lack of customer service skills this crew possessed. I came in nobody says hello they don't acknowledge when customers walk in or when they leave. I order off the kiosk both times so I didn't need any help but there was a group of workers at the registers not sure if they were training or what was going on but not one person said hello some of them looked up at me while I was getting my coffee but I thought, how rude. Where I come from workers on or off the clock smile and acknowledge when a customer walks in or they're leaving and your within distance of seeing them you should say something anything. I hate going into a business and nobody says hello how are you or bye see you next time or I'll be with you in just a moment it's rude and horrible customer service. Even if your not working the counter and your in the back but you see a customer and notice nobody says anything I think you should!!! And all the panera's that I've ever been to besides this one, always has excellent customer service. The best customer service is something that Panera has always been known for no matter what state or what town you go to. The lack of customer service skills at this store could really make or break a customers return. I always thought that no matter where you went you would get good service excellent service at Panera bread even if the food or drinks weren't good. I was wrong after years of going to Panera Facebook customer love hazelnut coffee this store's customer service was no different than any other fast-food restaurant makes me want to just go to...
Read moreI am from a town with a Panera; so I was stoked that Salina was getting one. I have been three times in the month it has been open. The first time I went my order was correct and received in a reasonable amount of time. The following two times, I had a HORRIBLE experience. The second time I went, I placed an order on the mobile app. I was suppose to pick it up at a certain time, I arrived on time then stood waiting for 10 extra minutes. I left without looking at my order because I was now late for work. Went to eat a couple of hours later, half of my order was missing. I called and called and could not get through to the store to speak with anyone. Today, I ordered from the mobile app again. This time I set pick up for 10 minutes before I would actually be there. I went in and yet again, order isn't ready. Part of my order was sitting where you pick up and part was still sitting in the window. I stood waiting for 5 minutes by the pick up window and no one went to finish putting the order together. So I started doing it myself. Part of my order wasn't there. So I kept looking around to find someone there were 5 or 6 staff members just standing behind the registers. They all looked at me multiple times, yet no one came to see if I needed something. Two staff members walked past the window and didn't acknowledge fact that I was there. Finally a girl from the drive thru, Sadie, came over to check on me. She got me the rest of my order and helped me put it together. Once again, I was10 minutes late to work. I called and called and couldn't get through to speak with anyone until 6 hours later. The customer service at this Panera is extremely lacking. I don't know if training wasn't done properly or they...
Read moreFood and drink great, tastes just like every other Panera I've been too. Very clean and new facility. BUT I don't like not being greeted by a person upon entering; instead I'm greeted by machines. Both times I've been here there is no employee to be seen upon entering, not even to look up and smile. 1st visit I waited 5min, wanting to order at a counter with a person, but no one appeared, so I reluctantly ordered at the computer kiosk. When j picked up the food at the counter, no one made eye contact or said thank you, or enjoy, nothing. Today, I stopped in for the second time to grab a ginger hibiscus tea. I knew a little more what to expect, and ordered from the kiosk. I still didn't see an employee while ordering, and was disappointed the screen didn't give me an option to pay in cash, since all I was purchasing was a beverage. The cups were set out, so I assumed I needed to fetch the drink myself (the screen didn't tell me). I used the restroom and saw my name on the order board, so I was confused as to whether they were making my drink and it would appear there. On the way out I held my drink up and asked if I did the right thing by getting it myself. The employee said yes, without looking up. I said, have a good day, and finally I got some sort of friendly human response back, to...
