(Not a Reflection of All 'Men's Wearhouse')
I feel compelled to provide an updated review based on my recent visit to the Men's Wearhouse at the Salisbury Mall. Before returning, I carefully considered the response I received regarding my initial experience, which I will discuss below. Unfortunately, I must stress that once again, the level of service "missed the mark" by an extraordinary degree. In fact, describing it as a disappointment would be a gross understatement. Being in this store felt like a direct insult, as if someone spat in my face while simultaneously stepping on my foot. The way the staff treated me was reminiscent of how a waitress at a Waffle House in Newport News might handle a complex order at 4 am, fully aware that no tip would be left. The morale within the establishment is undeniably abysmal, and customers are made to feel like a tremendous inconvenience. The service provided is untrained and lacking in professionalism, which is disheartening to witness. It pains me not only to write this review, but also to witness the potential demise of a business that could thrive with proper care. Perhaps my perspective is flawed, and it is possible that I am unaware of certain factors. However, refraining from sharing this review would be a disservice to prospective customers. It is my duty to caution others who may be considering a visit. If anyone happens upon this review, please let it serve as a stark reminder of the overall experience you may encounter. You have been warned.
Highly recommend the drive to Va beach, there is a mens wear house there with exceptional service. Exceeding expectations.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy fiancĆ© and his groomsmen had made an appointment to get fitted for their suits for our wedding (which is only 2 months away on a holiday weekend). They had a proper appointment scheduled and were all there on time and ready. The workers at this location were harsh and pushy to them saying that they checked in wrong and that they could only rent their suits 3-4 weeks before the wedding. They also tried playing it off like they couldnāt get them grey suits for the wedding (which I feel isnāt a super uncommon suit color). My fiancĆ© explained that the wedding was only 2 months out and that because of all his guys work schedules and other obligations, this was probably the only time they could all get together to do this (they arenāt even able to have a proper bachelor party because of schedules so this was his chance to hang out and celebrate with ALL of his guys before the wedding and it was ruined). Even after my fiancĆ© explained the situation, the workers at this store were very rude, not at all understanding or willing to do the job that they have. Had it been 6 months out from our wedding day, weād be a little more understanding but we are only 2 months out and had finally found a day that we could get this completed and it was completely ruined. Called customer service and didnāt get much further assistance doing that either. We WILL be taking our business elsewhere and I guess we will have to hope that all of the guys can schedule their own appointments to get fitted before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent here to procure tuxes for the groom and 2 groomsmen several months before the wedding and decided to get measured and rent them. Each groomsman was fitted at a different location and staff were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, when the rental tuxes came in a little over a week before the wedding, they were AWFUL. They were oversized, faded, and low quality. When the groom showed concern, he was told the chest of the suit would be huge, since he had broad shoulders - you could have fit three whole salmon in the suit with him. The groomsmen were also incorrect, but we were told it was because we were only spending $225+ on each suit rental, not spending $500+ on buying real fitted suits. After weighing options, we decided to travel across the state to other tux retailers and hope to find the sizes we needed in 8 days. We did, thanks to Jos A Banks (where buying a quality suit was actually cheaper!). A family member managed to work with Mens Wearhouse and get us a full refund for returning the misfitted items, besides the fitting fees. That is why we have given at least 3 stars. Nice staff, but poor quality, especially for those who cannot afford to blow $1000s on suits for an event. Mens Wearhouse needs...
