Overall, I had a good experience. I came here once before with my friend and we both were very happy with our nails. About a week and a half ago we came back to get full acrylic sets. Unfortunately I don’t know the names of anyone working there. I always like to come to a salon with at least 2 or 3 designs in mind, in case the artist doesn’t feel comfortable with my top choice. I asked the older gentleman if they could do a french tip ombré, and he said yes. I then asked between two shapes I liked; almond and coffin, what would be easier? He replied that coffin would be best, and I appreciated his honesty as I’ve been to other salons before who’ve said they could do something and ended up not being able to. The older gentleman shaped and filed my nails and they were very clean, even, and overall very well done! A younger woman painted my nails. She was very friendly and engaged in light conversation which i really enjoyed, but she used a technique for the ombré that left my nails looking very streaky. I think at the end she realized she didn’t accomplish exactly what I was looking for, because she offered to add thin sparkly designs on my nails free of charge and reduced my total by $5. I would’ve appreciated them to tell me right off the bat they didn’t specialize in ombre, however my nails did end up looking pretty either way and they were very friendly! I had been going here for about a year now. Have always been satisfied having Jessica do my nails. But according to Peter, she's been in a bad car accident. The very 1st time I went there, Peter did my nails. They were fine but per his words, he don't know how do designs. That's what made me start going to Jessica regularly. So I went by there today to see if he could just do basic fill in & pedicure(as everything had grown so much). After all tomorrow is my bday & i Needed them done. He refused me! 1st he Lied & said he only do paperwork on Monday mornings. But as I kept questioning him, with agitation it finally came out. He didn't want to do my nails because clearly all this time he has been in his feelings because I always want Jessica. Well he's the one who said he can't do nails as good as her! Anyway, I would've never thought Peter possessed this type of nastiness & jealousy. But it's all good. I ended up finding Salisbury Nails up the road. Glad I stumbled upon this gem Tammy. My best friend and i needed to get our nails done (two full sets, nothing flashy) before the rehearsal at the church (6pm) and for her wedding the next day. After calling around to a bunch of nail salons in the area, Top Nails told us it was a 20 minute wait so we arrived in about 5 minutes (3:50) It was another hour before we were seated, I eventually had to let them know we were on a time crunch since I didn't plan on this being an hours long process. They got her out the door finally and she was late for her own wedding rehearsal (and so was I) as a result. I had no choice but to leave the salon with unfinished nails (they have acrylic but no color) so I could attend the rehearsal. Now I'm forced to find time to get my nails finished the morning of the wedding while trying to take care of the bride and bridesmaids. Don't get me wrong, the staff were very friendly. But I was absolutely livid at having what I was told would be a 20 minute wait turn into a 2.5 hr process and still not...
