Caribbean Flava — Restaurant in Salisbury

I was torn on giving this either 3 or 4 stars. My girlfriend and I ordered dinner here over the phone, and our main meals were delicious. You get lots of food that tastes quite good and is a great price if you come here, that is for sure. However, the things that bump it down to three for me are the bads: The sides were meh, the wings were meh (didn't even finish them, the sauce was like water so it would not coat the wings), they were out of several things that they had listed on their website, and the person working the phone was not very professional (they were not rude, but they definitely could improve, coming from someone who worked customer service for many years). So, if none of those things bother you, then this is a big winner. In fact, even if they do bother you it is probably still worth it because the entrees are great. There were to many issues to give it 4 stars, but I will be eating here again, and I look forward to hopefully changing my review to 4...

Once a week. It's a necessity for me. The staff is polite, and the the food it's outstanding. Wife and I went to Jamaica last Christmas and I had jerk chicken every day while there. Caribbean Flava (family owned and operated) nails it and takes me back to Jamaica. The jerk chicken lunch special with rice and peas (red beans) and steamed cabbage is my favorite!! Price is very reasonable and just the right amount of food for lunch?

UPDATE: I've decided to expand my taste buds some more and tried a few more items on the menu based on recommendations from friends and even staff. I was not disappointed !!!

These are not on the lunch special list so they are a little bit more expensive but if you want flavor that just isn't found elsewhere around the area, splurge and take yourself to the Caribbean!!

Been to this place several times !! Had jerked chicken ,rice and beans and cabbage. Very good. My last few visits I was turned on to the brown stewed chicken same sides. It was delicious as well. Until I found a piece of hair in my rice. I took it back! They offered to fix me another plate. I declined ! Why would I want another platter when I just found hair in my food. A lady came to the front . I'm guessing she was the manager/ owner. She said you just found it after you ate it all There was a thigh ,3/4 rice and beans ,almost all the cabbage left. How is that eating it all! She gave me a $4.56 gift card. I gave it to a lady that was in line ,because I won't use it. She acted like I was trying to get something for nothing. Excuse I'm not a...
