I visited this nail salon seeking a resolution for a disappointing experience, only to be met with hostility from the manager. Despite my composed demeanor, she raised her voice and shifted her narrativeāclaiming ignorance about nails one moment, then asserting expertise the next.
When I presented evidence of the poor service, including uneven nail application and painful injuries from rough handling, the manager deflected responsibility and spread false accusations, telling other customers that I had threatened her. This led to them yelling at me, despite my only request being for at least a 50% refund. I was ultimately threatened by one customer that she would call 911 while the manager screamed she would sue me. All while I was standing in silence at the reception desk.
The original issues included: Uneven nail application (especially around the cuticles) Improper cuticle care Nail breakage on the same day Rough handling causing injury (2 painful wounds)
All these concerns and complaints were voiced throughout the 2.5h appointment to the nail artist and a manager - yet I was told that it didnāt matter since I had not repeated them again at the check-out counter (gaslighting at its finest indeed!).
I left with damaged nails and a bitter taste from the experience. Itās unfortunate that this salon prioritizes defensiveness over customer satisfaction. Well played though! No one at the salon had a chance to take a look at my damaged nails, but they were quick to believe in a simple āthreatā lie. Given that Iām from Poland where making 20 USD per hour is considered a success, I was baffled in how little respect is shown to a customer who simply expects a professional service and approach.
The sight of the manager screaming she would sue me and another lady yelling at me and threatening to call 911 would forever remain in my head as a perplexing memory.
It cost 150 USD to get my nails fixed in another salon.

In that time this particular space has been owned and run as a nail salon for all of that time by various owners. And, this time I feel compelled to share my review. I get my nails done, and Iāve come to Expect minimum level customer service Where there is a language barrier With the person doing the nails Which is a challenge when you want to communicate in a friendly way, or in a needs based way with all the staff, talking to each other in a language I canāt understand, and no one really engaging in a way that is friendly or thankful for my business.
That said, this place is different, greatly different. For example, the woman next to me was having difficulty getting comfortable in the spa chair. They asked her politely if she wanted a pillow for her back. After making some adjustments, she seemed satisfied, but then later it was clear that she was not. At that point, there were no less than three employees, helping her, adjust her body and the chair to her satisfaction, and they helped her with smiles. Upon arrival they ask you if you want anything to drink, which includes wine if you choose. This was an early afternoon appointment for me and wine was not desired. But a bottle of water was provided.
And while there is a language difference, it wasnāt a barrier. On my way out the person who checked me out made sure I was happy and expressed that my happiness with their service was paramount.
