Disappointed. I ordered the boneless chicken wings and got less than I anticipated. Not in quantity, but in quality. They had been sitting around so long they tasted spoiled AND were around so long most of the sauce had baked off, evaporated or something like that.
AND they were lukewarm which likely contributed to the off-putting flavor I experienced. In addition to that, the tator tots were crispy all the way through (you know, wuere you suspect it's been refried so many times it's like the outside on the inside, crispy, if that makes sense?).
The ocean water was good.
I ordered $20 of food when i could have cancelled and got two meals for $14 less (yay for using the app) also.
It like I got a three punch combo of not awesome because I hadn't eaten since 10am (went to Sonic about 30-40 minutes ago) and now I can't eat this food. Kids gone to bed so I can't go back right now.
Maybe I'll start going to the one on Austin hwy, I heard I can order ahead there anyway.
Ramblings aside I haven't been to this Sonic in a while and last time it was good, but this time it wasn't so now I dont trust it anymore.
Even looking at the picture you can see the sauce is orange, why are the wings not orange. Like how did that even happen? How did the wings get dried up? Read moreI’ve loved Sonic my whole life, it’s always been my favorite fast food place, but every time I visit this location it’s a nightmare and it’s sucks because it’s the only one near my house, but I’m going to just have to suffer the longer drive to avoid this horrible location. This is the third time I show up where they are busy and just stop answering their drive thru all together. I waited 15 minutes and went to 3 different stations before I got a response. On top of that when they finally answer they treat the customer like they are are annoyance. Every word that drags out of the employees mouth of the speaker screams “I don’t want to be here.” It is made worse that half of their stations are out of order, leaving us customers to fight for the other half. They don’t even mark them as out of order so their parking lot ends up looking like a car based game of music chairs. Sonic is great but this location is the worst one I’ve ever been to, perhaps the worst Sonic period. The manager really should be repremanded for allowing this whole store to run at minimum functionality for so long. It’s not that hard to reach out to corporate and let them know things are broken and you need assistance. Read moreI don't have high standards for fast food. However, I will now drive an extra 10 minutes out of my way to avoid this location. The staff is AWFUL, I always place mobile orders usually containing one single item such as a drink and I arrive 5 minutes after the recommended arrival time yet I always find myself waiting 10-15minutes after checking in, pushing the button to let them know I'm still waiting and they end the call and don't say a word, after 5 min they come out basically throw the drink at me and walk away with attitude. Look, I get it. It's fast food, I don't expect good service, but I do expect to be treated like a human being.
The location is also falling apart, drive through has been out of order for years, and half the screens are broken. It's a very run-down location.
