I am just writing this post that happen on 8/3/22. I took my daughter and imediate family for her birthday dinner. I also made waitress aware of the occasion. We arrived a little while after 7pm. We got seated 15min later. It was not crowded that day and we ordered drinks that didn't take long at all but once we ordered food ours didn't come. The waitress kept putting bradsticks on the table the soup that was ordered before the food took 25min. We questioned when will entrees be ready after 45min into waiting. The waitress said she didn't have a time but she would check again. She came back about 8min later still no food so we asked for the manager. He came immediately with a condescending attitude when we told him what was going on. He stated he knew because he was timing our drinks coming out compared to food. Mind you there were 2 ladies who was seated just 5min before us who ordered several things sat around ate and left. We seen others eat and leave who came after us. He argued with me about the time instead of apologizing or attempting to offer anything else. He said it's almost done we can box it up for you. By this time a whole hour went by and we changed our mind to except any food from the kitchen. If a manager is unfriendly, unapologetic, condescending, we felt that his staff was a reflection of him. We were full anyways from the loads of breadsticks and salad they kept putting on our table. The manager even mocked me when I stated how much breadsticks we had and didn't want to get full from that. He basically said we'll they come free anyways. I stated we didn't come here to get full off of bread sticks, soup. And salad. He just offered to box food up. my kids said okay cause they really wanted it and he hurried to the back and left. I decided to call the waitress over and told her to tell her manager never mind and explained to my young ones why not to take food from any restaurants that are confrontational. My mom and I felt we couldn't trust our food to have been properly prepared after our encounter with the manager. I did offer to pay for soup and salad at host station. The manager came walking real fast as if we were walking out with out paying and once he realized that wasn't the case he didn't charge for the soup and salad that came free with entrees anyway. It wasn't a good experience that evening. I'm in the hospitality business and in my opinion he acted...
Read moreExcellent service was delivered by Mr. Shaun. We dined on spaghetti 🍝 and all you can eat salad and Chicken 🐔& Gnochi soup. It was a wonderful lunch and we will return soon! Conveniently located off the Walzem exit off I-35 North. 2 Dec- Returned for lunchtime with my wife today. This is a popular lunchtime destination for many people. I suggest you arrive a little before 12pm to be immediately seated. Right about 12:30 it is standing room only and quite a wait. That comment aside, we were quickly seated and greeted by the awesome Miss Kennedy who is a knowledgeable and gracious customer service professional. Our order was quickly taken by Kennedy and we were enjoying our lasagne shortly thereafter alongside a👍 big serving bowl of their wonderful never ending salad. We ordered the mango tea, which was pleasant, and a blueberry lemonade, which was the most awesome taste in a lemonade I have ever tasted. You should try the blueberry lemonade! We also decided to enjoy a dessert and the chocolate brownie lasagna hit the spot, but I recommend a cup of their great coffee served in a pre-heated coffee cup to go with your dessert. A very nice touch. Price was more than reasonable, meals were expertly prepared and popping with Italian flavor from fresh ingredients and our server Kennedy set the table for our enjoyable dining experience. We will be returning to dine at the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant off I-35 and Walzem Rd in NE San...
