Love this location because within the store there is a merchant with a key making business that's been in business here for several decades in which any time frame I need a key made, I come to this HEB location to get my key made and shop for my home. The key shop is old fashioned and doesn't accept plastic debit nor credit cards. He is a strictly cash and receipt business man. His keys are very affordable and you can choose whatever key design you want which are a little higher than the basic keys. You do not have to take the key(s) of the chain that you are getting made. He makes your keys in front of you on the key chain that you handed to him from your own hands into his hands. He also sales key tips for you to label your keys from the rest of the keys or for that special entity that you are getting the key made for and you want to personalize it for that special entity you have decided to hand over a key to. And when you get to your location of where your keys has it's purpose and try it out for the first time frame. My experience is that the key always works for me the first time after I bought it. That's why I shop at this HEB location because The Keyman is very reliable and friendly to. After I leave The Keyman, to shop in HEB section, I know where things are located at this HEB location because I use to shop here many years ago for my favorite Mexican candies and snacks for me and my 3 sons and our family's pets. There meat quality is good and fresh veggies and fruits are just right like the farmers just brought them from the harvest fields straight to this HEB location because other locations had gnats and flies around the fresh veggies and fruits. And they also have located inside of this HEB a cell phone wireless company. I'm not sure what the name of the company is because they have had several wireless companies since I had a cell phone at this HEB location since 2005. This HEB location is my #1 favorite out of 3 locations. I highly recommend this place. But I must warn you, it's a very very busy store. VIA bus stops are in front. Lots of parking & a gas station, they also have a mailbox outside of the store to drop off your mail. The deli is awesome and the bakery. The sea food in the meat market is always fresh and never frozen. My favorite is the Mexican shrimp cocktail made...

Read moreThis location seems to be well managed. The only issue is that if you require a power scooter unit. They are only located at the north entrance and not at the south entrance. This affects the shoppers that have a mobility condition which require extra help. The parking lot is huge and we parked on the south end which had closer spaces by that entrance believing it would help my elderly father in law that has mobility issues. Upon entering we were surprised to learn that ALL the scooters were located at north entrance only which would require him to walk to other side of store to get a scooter. Needless to say that I was forced to have him lean against wall (no chairs) while I went to acquire a scooter. After we completed shopping and were at registers. I inquired with a front end manager why scooters are set up this way. He really didn't have a good answer besides stating that the only electrical plugs were at north entrance for scooters to be recharged between uses. As with most if not all other HEB's, this is a standard practice that a regular customer to that store can work with. But, if this is your first or second time to that store, it causes a very negative impression starting from where you park and where disability parking is located. This issue can be resolved in a efficient and cost effective manner. All that needs to be done is upon store opening, have a small percentage (2 units) of scooters moved & located at south entrance. If needed, add 1 or 2 electrical plugs. The employee stationed at that door as a greeter can monitor and replenish units as needed. If employee is not normally stationed at entrances. Have one of the employees working front end do a quick check every 30 mins. This way it eliminates a huge issue on where to park since "both" entrances are now "truly" fully equipped for the customers that require a little extra help with there...
