Right now, they are offering curbside service, which is quite convenient. The process goes smoothly, with minimal wait times, and the prices are very reasonable. I usually pay $20 for 40 ice creams in a variety of flavors.
My personal favorites are the chocolate and cheesecake, while my family loves the strawberry and crème. The horchata flavor is very good, though I think it has a tad too much cinnamon; but it's still enjoyable. The pickle flavor is delicious, and I love freezing a pickle to enjoy the juice when it turns into ice. Having a pickle popsicle is a fantastic invention!
I do wish they offered a pickle and chili flavor. They do have separate ice creams for pineapple and mango with chili, both of which are excellent. The pineapple chili is great because you can actually taste the stringiness of the fresh pineapple, as they make everything straight from the fruit. It’s very refreshing and delicious. I can almost guarantee that you will not be disappointed—I would recommend this place to a thousand people if I could!
Overall, they have a wide array of good flavors, great pricing, and the place is always clean. You definitely get more for your money; you're basically paying $0.50 per popsicle, whereas if they come to your house, you're paying about $1.50 each, which isn't bad considering they need to make a profit. However, if you want to get the best deal for your dollar, definitely...
Read moreWe love these paletas. Wife was looking for some good paletas here in San Antonio since she just immigrated from Tijuana when we found this place while in the car visiting family. We were used to paying around $1 - $2 for dripping watered down syrupy paletas so she expected these to be nowhere better, but maybe good enough to get her by since here they go for 50 cents each! (then 12 for $5.50 or 18 for $8 and so on...) She was very surprised. Here they have great flavors (horchata flavor actually tastes like horchata), the cream paletas are very soft and creamy with no dripping from watering down and no sticky mess from cheap sweeteners...also like that they seem to understand that more sweetener doesn't mean better tasting. They don't go overboard on the sweeteners like some tend to do. (Especially in Tijuana, lol) Now we come here when we run out buying 18 for 8 dollars, that is pretty much 2...
Read moreExcellent place to get ice cream bars. Huge selection of flavors, bulk prices.
These are the same ice cream bars you get from the guys with the bicycle carts that ride around town. With over 2 dozen flavors to choose from, this place has something for everyone. Many of the flavors here are really good and have become some of my favorites.
The vanilla with raisin is excellent, as are the cherry. All the ice cream bars contain real fresh fruit. Ice cream bars here are sold by individually or by the dozen, the store also offers ice chests and dry ice to help you transport your purchase, but your welcome to bring your own containers.
This place is great to stock your fridge, or even purchase items for fund raisers or parties. I highly recommend this company as I think their product is not only very reasonably price, but very...
