Context: I only ever order on mobile. My orders are printed at the store, and the specifications can be read at all times as the baristas place the sticker directly on the cup.
And still, this is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to out of 5 States of which I've frequented Starbucks locations. They get my order wrong 87% of the time, never fill the cup up all the way, and completely disregard any and all paid modification.
But before I dive into the septics of consistency and quality control: some notes on their customer service. Here did I find the barista that decided to respell my name, in Sharpie, incorrectly and uncesessarily on the cup opposite the sticker. And here was also the one and only time in which a barista argued with me. (You see, I asked for them to top off a venti cup that had over an inch of room in a Soy Cordusio that I'd added 3 additional shots and additional flavors to; the barista insisted the cup needed to be partially empty - for the recipie that apparently only this location follows - and that he needed to charge me the cost of the alternative milk yet again.)
Now lately I have been on a London Fog latte kick. I love Earl Gray tea, and I have been getting these (the exact same way) about twice a day: so often, that as of yesterday the two Starbucks that I normally go to both ran out of the tea. I went to this location this morning because it was the closest, and because I wrongly thought that it would be nearly impossible to mess up. They did it once before!
Instead, it tastes like a slightly astringent water, and for me, is undrinkable. It's the type of flavor that only happens if you fill a cup up entirely with ice and then pour the smallest amount of tea possible just directly on top to melt said ice.
Which for someone who asks for everything "light ice", and pays for extra tea bags that are seldom given (every other location I've been to leaves the tea bags in the cup, and even this location did on one passable occasion prior) it just seems incredibly underhanded, and well, CHEAP. Lazy, even.
The only thing that this location is consistent on, is being consistently bad. You can always expect a "light ice" drink to be watery, just as you can always expect a drink with multiple different flavors to not taste sweet. A splash of milk seems to mean coffee lighter than my skin, and 100% of the time double blended means that half of your drink will be poured down the sink because it was made improperly - and waste or death before upping a cup size.
So goodbye additional flavors and espresso shots that take my venti frappuchinos from $6 to $13, I salute you. I hope the drain enjoys your flavors because all I get are chunks of ice.
And to this location, I'm not going to stop coming here, oh no. I'm just going to complain louder, and document better. Eventually someone's...
Read moreI used to be a partner of Starbucks. I have celiac disease meaning I cannot have anything with gluten and cannot have any type of cross contamination or else I will go to the hospital. Starbucks sells chive and potato egg bites, which are labeled gluten-free, unfortunately, because of the severity of my disease, I cannot have it warmed up in the warmer. For multiple years, I was able to get the egg bites and the potato bite still in the plastic packaging not warmed up so that I could go home or to my work and heat it up in a safe environment so that I do not get sick and do not go to the hospital. This morning, I went to Starbucks, relying on grabbing some potato egg bites for food at work today when they informed me that they can no longer give it to me in the plastic packaging. Despite the fact that their food is labeled gluten-free on that and it is not safe in the oven, so this is a type of disability discrimination. I have contacted the district manager of the store and I’m respecting a response back as I am incredibly disappointed. As someone who saw Starbucks as a safe place to go get food as a celiac, I no longer see that way, and I’m incredibly disheartened by the way that Starbucks has been...
Read moreI go to Starbucks all the time and I go check out several. First time at this one & I was not satisfied at all. Barista made my drink wrong...coffee frapp should be brown, not white. He said it's probably because you used soy. No, I order this drink all the time and never have I seen it white. I tried it at first because i was being nice but could not handle it. Went in and mind you i have my dog with me because we were outside. Asked the employee if it could be remade, because it did not taste like coffee. He was starting to make it, I chose to wait for my drink, employee comes to me and says "unless your dog is a service dog, you can't be in here." I said "are you going to bring me my drink?" He said yes. First of all I wouldn't be in this situation if the guy would have made my drink right. I know Starbucks has signs for service dogs only but I was not going to put my dog back in the truck and go get my drink corrected. Luckily another employee made my day better by bringing my drink and offering her a puppicino, and telling me he would watch her if I needed to go inside. I will not be visiting this...
