Walk with me as I take the steps to be a second time surrogate! Today I had medical clearance. The process was pretty easy. Took about an hour/hour and a half. We started off with a consult. The fertility doctor went over the whole process. Then we did a physical exam and a saline sonogram. They looked at my uterus to make sure it would be good to go for a sweet baby. Doctor said my uterus is beautiful and if I wanted more babies there are tons of eggs. We then did an Hysterosalpingography (HSG) which is an xray of my fallopian tubes to make sure there is no blockage that would hinder the implantation of the embryo. We ended the appointment with bloodwork. We should find out in a week if I'm medically cleared.
