My fiancee and i have lived here for 6months and we are counting down the nano seconds to get out of here. Management is a crapshow if I could give this place 0 stars I would. They are rude, unorganized, unprofessional, and downright incompetent. The manager and assistant manager do not make time to see the unhappy residents neither do they care about what is actually going on at the complex. The leasing agents don't know whether they're coming or going. I'm unsure how they make it to work because they never seem to have their head on straight. When we did our viewing of the apartment it was a mess with bugs, spiders, and fruit flies everywhere. We were told they would do a make ready on our apartment along with a shampoo because the carpet was so dirty with a weird discoloration and smelled as though the previous tenant had cats and dogs peeing in every inch of the unit. When we got our keys to do our move in we did the walk through paperwork along with pictures to photograph what actually was done during the make ready which was nothing. We turned in our walk through paper the next day and told the office that the unit was not cleaned, they said they would send somebody out to do it but that never happen. I have emailed the photos of the filthy apartment and asked for them to refer back to the walk through paper however they some how lost that so nothing has been resolved. I did call and talk to the assistant manager Monica about the issues and informed her that we would leave the apartment in the condition that it was given to us and we want our deposit back however in return she was rude, uncompassionate, and lied about everything. We have asked to speak to the property manager several times but have been unable to talk with her since she is never in office when i go in which I do visit several times due to packages. Now let's discuss the awesome apartment. The walls are so thin I can hear my neighbors entire conversations yes the ones on top and next door. We have a 1st floor unit and have to go through the torture of the person above us making this noise like she is stomping out a damn fire in every room every night. Any time these people walk our ceiling fans and light fixtures start to shake. Then seems like everyone above is staying in our unit cause when they wash, shower, or use the bathroom the water pipes vibrate so loud it can wake you out of your sleep. Pest Control is another big issue. We use to have just an ant and fruit fly issue however not sure if pest control or the weather did them in cause they left. Now we have all different sizes of roaches and silverfish. The apartment complex is always asking to submit a request online for pest control but the request rarely go through but if call and tell the leasing agents they'll forget to put in the request so it's a lose/lose. Then the landscaping is only comforting to the deer, insects and more than likely snakes. I mean with a name like legends on the green you would expect greenery throughout but its nothing but dead trees, dirty sticks and mud. Which gets blown to the breezeways creating this horrible blsck mud slime in front of your door(the bugs love it). No worries cause maintenance does come with a powerwasher to spray it off by pushing all the dirty mud slime under your door because there is a 2 inch gap at the bottom corner of it. Not only is that dirty slime getting in but in summer I was greeted by lizards. Which is okay if you can get them to run out the door but if they run the other way you will have to play I spy as they blend in with your carpet. Parking is a joke if you don't get off before noon. If you are in desperate need of an apartment fast and this is your last resort just gather some card board and take your pick of living under 410/I10/I35/1604/281. Moving here would be the same thing except you wouldn't be throwing away your money. I wouldn't suggest these apartments to my worst enemy. WARNING DO NOT AND I DO MEAN DO NOT...
Read moreThe area as far as convience to stores.....1604 etc is hard to beat. Having said that you hear traffic on 1604 every morning. Its a alarm clock in itself. The property usually had a couple good maintenance people generally on staff at most points (a couple) ...everyone hated the old guy though....whatever his name was. Place was relatively clean. Nice looking out at the golf course. That's the good. Parking could be hectic sometimes to find a spot even though they had tons of covered extra rent parking spots sitting unused. When we had some work being done on our building we were unable to use/access (for a couple weeks) our garages (we paid $100 a month for) we were still not allowed to park in those covered spots without paying the extra $35 a month......we did ask. Would have been easy to temporarily change the unrented spots over to regular parking.
The worst part of Legends on the Greens was the office staff though. It's hard to blame anyone in particular because except for the do nothing manager (that only acknowledged tenants with a wave like we liked each other) anytime she was driving more prospective suckers around the property) it was a revolving door of ineptitude. Apparently they didn't even like each other. New face every time I went in there. Really can't blame all the issues on ineptness though I'm afraid. Often they were straight up trying to jip you. Don't use their payment portal (give these people your bank account info....lol) and bring a check to the office. They'll "fish" every few months trying to charge you a late fee. We always requested a stamped or signed/dated receipt despite the occasional eyerolls and showed it to them the first three/four times it happened until I threatened to contact their management company the next time they tried the late fee thing. I'm sure they got a bunch of tenants with that.
Still waiting for what's left of our security deposit (that we have been credited for per the move out statement and from calling talking to the office) to be refunded. Last I heard talking to them tonight it was mailed out in Oct.....when my wife already talked to them Nov 20th and they stated the check had not been cut yet. We moved out in September. If tenants played around with them with rent like that they'd be charging a late fee. I'm getting ready to myself when I end up having to go over their heads and call their management company. Anyway the office staff ruins what would otherwise be at least a decent property.
Last I heard from a friend that still lives there. If you're renting a enclosed garage like we had you have to park a vehicle in it now. You cannot use it for storage of any kind. Nice way to come at your residents during this already trying time. I can see keeping people from making a bunch of noise (having parties in the garage) (using it as a workshop).....but storage.....smh.
One star is for location. The other star is for the couple of good maintenance guys.

12/21/2020 Update: Three months and counting and still no deposit refund after my wife and I both spoke with Stephanie - so-called "new management" - in November. A ledger was sent with no attached deposit refund after the first call. No action taken after the second call. Might have to take...

They sing it to you very nice and pretty, but they don't tell you ALL the conditions until you apply (after you pay the non refundable application fee of course)! Beware for all you college students! My daughter and her roommate went on a Saturday (the 6th) and they showed them the place. They said they had a unit for $997 or so.. I do not remember and in order to lock in that rate, they will need to apply and put down the deposit. So they did. Then they come back and said that they have to charge them a pro-rated amount till the end of the month from the date that they put down the deposit. Daughter told them that they weren't able to move till middle of the month (20). They told them that in order to get that rate they will need to pay the pro-rated amount the day of the deposit. Doesn't make sense. They told my daughter that the rates fluctuate on a daily basis!! Really?!! Who does that? Come Wednesday, they got approved but with conditions, which they didn't explained AT ALL before! Now they needed to pay one month's rent, plus deposit, plus the pro-rated rent.. REALLY?? A COLLEGE STUDENT?? Daughter and roommate went to go talk to the manager and she explained that if my daughter had a co-signer (MORE MONEY THEY HAVE TO FORK OUT FOR APPLICATION FEE) that maybe they won't need to pay rent's deposit and will let them know. Daughter called me back and said that now BOTH of them had to be students and both had to have a co-signer and the rent will now go up!! So what was the purpose of the deposit in the first place?? 🤔 I know that they have to take their precautions, but seriously!! Just let the people know up front the conditions before wasting their time and money!! UPDATE It's been almost a month and TO THIS DAY, daughter hasn't gotten her deposit check back! They say that they can't give out the property management phone number out.. well come to find out, the company is based out of California and with research I did look up their phone number. Called them and I asked about the deposit and the lady said by law it takes a month to get the deposit back. I was like no you don't understand, they didn't even lived there. She then gave me an email for me to write like they did from the response below. I did send them an email.. no response! DO I HAVE TO GET MY ATTORNEY INVOLVED TO GET THIS DEPOSIT BACK?? SERIOUSLY! JUST TO SHOW YOU HOW THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WHEN THEY DIRECT YOU TO AN EMAIL. I'M NOW GOING TO SEND CERTIFIED MAIL TO THEIR ADDRESS AND FILE PAPERWORK IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT! Second Update11-30-2018* soooooo they claimed that they sent the check and now they say "it got lost* in the mail.. they are a JoKE!! NOW TO WAIT ANOTHER MONTH..
