I am writing to express my gratitude for the exceptional service and attention to detail I received following a recent unfortunate incident at your restaurant.

On April 3rd, my family and I visited NONNA Osteria for what we anticipated would be a delightful dining experience. Unfortunately, we encountered the incident of poor service and incorrect order. This occurrence, understandably, left us dissatisfied and somewhat disheartened, especially considering our previous positive experiences at your establishment.

However, I am pleased to inform you that our impression of Nonna was significantly redeemed by the outstanding response and resolution provided by your team, particularly the general manager. Upon bringing the matter to your attention, you responded promptly and empathetically, taking immediate steps to rectify the situation. Your professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly commendable and made a lasting impression on us.

Not only did you ensure that our concerns were addressed swiftly, but you also went above and beyond to ensure that next visit our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The level of care and attention to detail exhibited by your staff, under your guidance, was exemplary and greatly appreciated.

I firmly believe that the mark of a great establishment lies not only in the quality of its offerings but also in its ability to handle challenges with grace and integrity. In this regard, NONNA and its management team have undoubtedly exceeded expectations, turning what could have been a negative experience into a shining example of customer service excellence.

As a result of your swift and effective resolution, I am delighted to inform you that my faith in NONNA has been fully restored, and I look forward to continuing to dine with you in the future. I am confident that with leaders like yourself at the helm, NONNA Osteria will continue to thrive and maintain its reputation as a beacon of culinary excellence.

Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to you and your team for your exceptional efforts in resolving this matter. Please convey my gratitude to all staff members involved, as their dedication did not go unnoticed.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit to NONNA's...

We had the shrimp and calamari appetizer, the Cinghale, the Bolognese, the tiramisu, and then the di pomerrigio for our drink during the meal, and the espresso Martini for our dessert drink.

All the food was very tasty. The shrimp and calamari was a bit hard to eat because of the skewers. They kinda kept you from dipping, but they also battered the skewer which made it hard to get the food off the skewer without feeling like you were gonna throw food across the room. The buttermilk sauce was delicious, though.

On the cinghale, my friend had to send it back because the boar was too crisp, almost burnt, but the server happily accommodated and got him a new one very quickly. He thought it was delicious.

The Bolognese was very good. It seems different than the downtown recipe, which is a good thing for my personal tastes.

The tiramisu was fine. Nothing extraordinary.

Our espresso martinis were good but a little bit different it seemed than the ones downtown. Idk if the recipe is different, there’s a different vodka, etc, but they were still pretty good.

The highlight I would say is the service. Our server was very kind and accommodating. The manager came over and checked on every table which was good.

The ambiance feels more lively than downtown, which I’m not sure I enjoy as much. The music seemed a little too loud. Beautiful restaurant though with a very open layout.

Overall 4/5 due to the price and ambiance. It’s high quality food but the prices seem a bit stingy for what you get but I can’t say for sure without know what their food cost is, which I’m sure they’re not...

I made reservations because they were participating in the Culinaria event. We support those restaurants that participate in the Culinaria events. I appreciate their contributions to those in SA who don’t have enough food on their tables. The Culinaria menu was enticing. For the first course, I chose the tuna tartare. It was delicious with fried capers and an artichoke aioli. I asked to have the chives eliminated and they were very accommodating. It was served with an artichoke aioli. Although very good, I would have liked a more pronounced artichoke flavor. I asked for a glass of prosecco and it was delicious! My husband ordered the arancini which was served with lobster 🦞 risotto. He asked for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and liked it. He truly enjoyed it. The first course offered a soup but I didn’t ask what it was. We both ordered the braised lamb shank on a bed of mashed potatoes, which I found a little bland; however, the slice of onion, served along side, was fabulous! They are braised and cooked down with balsamic and probably a red wine vinegar or a vinegar of some sort, perhaps a sherry or champagne vinegar or a milder vinegar. We decided to share a wonderful salted caramel gelato at the table and bring the tiramisu home. One of the best Culinaria meals and for only $35 per person! We hope that Nonna’s Osteria continues to participate in the...

10/10 can’t wait to come back ! 🤩 Moe was our server and he was OUTSTANDING ! Everything came out hot and fresh. And his recommendation were SPOT ON ! My husband and I would come back just based on his service alone . ☺️ Everything was super TASTY . I came here with my husband for lunch and we were not disappointed. The gnocchi was FANTASTIC 10/10 dish , it was so creamy and pillowy soft 😋 we also ordered a margarita pizza 🍕 flavors were on point, however the center of the pizza was a little bit mushy just needed 4-5 more minutes in the oven but honestly still so tasty 🤤 and Moe recommended a raspberry ginger cocktail 🍸 . That drink was out of this WORLD 🌎 it was so nice we had to order it TWICE 😍 they also serve bread and tapenade before the meal arrives and that was also very delicious 😌 I do think the portion of tapenade is a bit larger than the bread portion I was left wanting a little more bread 🥖 because the tapenade was soooooo good 😉 now onto desserts , my husband ordered Gelato 🍨 and he was in gelato heaven 10/10 😇 I ordered a chocolate mousse dessert …. Which I don’t remember the name ,however that dessert was so PERFECT loved all the textures and that light and decadent chocolate mousse was just SUPERB 🤯 the Ambiance is also a 10/10 very comfy ,cozy and elegant 😌 can’t wait to come back ! 🥰

Hmm. I see all the raves just don't see it.. unless you like paying way too much for way too little then knock yourself out. But to spend what we did and leave wondering why and for what.. service was good and miles was on top of things but was almost too much with coaster alignment..the bread or croutons were okay and the tapinade was way too salty.. how about a roll or bigger pieces with the usual accompaniments..the aracini were good not great. And surprised that it came with 4. Thought for sure would only be three..the buratta sp? Basically melted cheese in a shallow dish of what tasted like Campbell's tomato soup, served with, 2 large thin crackers. Don't waste your time. The child's pizza probably the best dish all night, sad. The meatballs, you thought with some pasta, nope just three balls barely any sauce and 18$. The pork belly 23$ and 4 springs of broccolini with a very crispy dry piece with some slivers of unrecognizable green something.. two other dishes as they went up in prize didn't dazzle and were not a portion size that left us wanting theirs more than ours.. I should've just ordered another side of the rice balls. Oh drinks over priced too. So the place was packed and I have no idea why. Bring a flashlight and magnifying glass. Too dim and menu print too small. Bon Appétit.
