Stripes 2508 — Local services in San Antonio

I’d give this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the kid that works the register that thinks he owns the store 🙄 Along with the other 4 items I was purchasing, I grabbed hot food items and a gallon of water for a homeless person outside the store. The kid said he couldn’t scan the water so he would just scan something that I was purchasing that was more than $1 more than the water. What? You’re going to charge me more for something because YOU can’t scan the item? So I said I’d grab another and he proceeded to tell me that it was only .30 more. I told him it wasn’t while I was walking to grab another gallon and he said he just wasn’t going to serve me. Missed out on a $20+ sale because he wanted to act big and bad 😂 Went to the Murphy Express down the street and bought what I was going to buy at this Stripes there and brought the stuff back to the homeless man outside. Also, the guy at Murphy Express said that people are always coming in and complaining about that kid...

I went to this store #2508, Saturday 10-2-21, this stores is dirty, all from the entrance to the back of the store, trash recipients in the front, dirty, the side walk in fron of the stores, glass doors, landscape, the parking need good water pressure cleaning, the store is very dark, the food station cold and warmers dirty disgusting, the fountain drink trash overflow, no cups available, I needed to ask for soda cups, the ice dispenser black dirty, overall filthry . the employees doesn’t have customer service urgency, we were like 5 person on line, 1 cashier, another female looking like a manager, talking with a man, I’ll think a customer on the side, and not even try to help with the line of customers, bad experience. I’ll keep going to see if any improvement is being made. FYI, I will make a report to a Health Department for an inspection to this store. Brand new store and in this condition is unacceptable. This am my spouse went in and purchased a big order of not only tacos which were fresh, drinks as well. I have called the store for over 2 hrs. Wch individual who so ever it maybe has answered and you can hear the transactions over telephone just allow the phone on a open line. Shortly after hangups. As of 2:11pm I finally spoke to an extremely RUDE a woman as I'm asking she said NO!!! And abruptly hung up.. as I attempted to call back nobody would answer. She never gave me an opportunity to even say if they could look at their camera as most stores are. Like circle K or QT ..
