I came to this facility after over a year of physical theraphy . The month I spent there changed my life. Yes im very young and was youngest on the population . The food is a stable diet which they will accommodate modifications. The CNA'S are impeccable. Jane was awesome. Maria the entire staff. The director is non stop but he takes GOOD care of the facility . It is impeccably clean . They wash and dry and hang your CLOTHING for you. You are taken really good CARE of. The elderly are gotten up daily . Have activities and seemed okay . (Everyone would like to be home) But my shining armour was the OT AND PT TEAM ARTURO ADRIANA AND EUGENE ALONG WITH TWO OTHERS WERE SO INSTRUMENTAL IN GETTING MY BODY TO DO THINGS THAT HAD IT NOT BEEN challenged TO DO. I AM ON A 3YR REHABILITATION FROM A PARTIAL SPINAL CORD INJURY T4-6 BUT MY ENTIRE SPIN TO 11 IS HARDWARE. ADRIANA GOT KNEE TO BEEN ARTURO WAS RELENTLESS IN ME KEEPING MY FORM AND EUGENE GOT ME TO START TO STRENGTHEN MY BACK MUSCLES. I LEFT THERE FOR THE FIRST TIME BEING ABLE TO MAKE A HEEL STRIKE. I WISH I WOULD HAVE DONE MY RECOVERY THERE. I WOULD BE MUCH BETTER ...BUT SHE GAVE ME A KICK BUTT ROURINE TO TAKE HOME. AGNES THE MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER. I DON'T KNOW WHERE I WOULD HAVE BEEN IF NOT FOR HER EFFORTS TO FIND A SPOT FOR ME .
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE COOKS ACTIVITY DIRECTORS THE DIRECTOR THE WHOLE OR IT YEAM AND DR'S ALL WHO PLAY A,GREAT ROLE TO GIVE AWRDOME CARE IF YOU NEED TO SEND A LOVED ONE SOMEWHERE, THIS IS THE PLACE. I WAS THE PATIENT. I'M A 49 YEAR OLD AFROEUROPEAN NATIVE AMERICAN AND MY STAY WAS AWESOME. THEY HELP INVALUABLE
THANK YOU EVERYONE SAADIYAH...
Read moreSan Bruno Skilled Nursing facility is by far the best. With zero COVID-19 cases, due to full compliance to the guidelines, and then some, they clean and sanitize continuously.
The staff is excellent! They are respectful and kind professionals who skillfully care for the patients with compassion.
Our 80-year old dear friend (Gene C.) just spent one month there, after a major back surgery. His recovery was tough, and took extensive physical therapy, which was outstanding. Also outstanding were the nurses, doctor and attendants. Their food was 5-star, well balanced, and nutritional.
This is a well-managed, facility and a safe environment, with excellent staff, made possible by Brooke Koyfman who is the Administrator. Even though she humbly gives all credit to her staff, we know that it starts at the top. Brooke is a rare find, and works tirelessly because she actually cares about each patient and staff member, which is something you don't see enough of these days. I wish I had known of this facility when I was in need of a skilled nursing home for my mother. Myself, and my family would have rested a lot easier knowing she was in such capable hands, and that makes a huge difference in worrisome difficult times.
We highly recommend the San Bruno Skilled Nursing Facility for you or your loved ones.

Read moreI have just spent the last month at San Bruno skilled nursing facility. I have to say that overall it has been a very positive experience. I came in with multiple fractures from a tree falling on me and was unable to move without excruciating pain. In one month I have had excellent care, and excellent PT OT enabling me to walk, toilet, shower and dress myself. The CNA staff is excellent with extra shouts out to Sareeta, Tess and Ruby, who were kind, caring, loving and fun. Nursing staff Alma, Thomas, Andrew and Kirsten. PT/ OT staff Evan, May and Keith were all outstanding.
The bad: the facility is noisy and very crowded, with some maintenance items that could use upgrades. ( exhaust fans in bathrooms, better lighting, courtyard improvements) The gym was used to its max, and could be improved with more room and a bike. The food was awful, with breakfast being the exception. Seems like this could be easily improved.
The good: exceptionally clean , and great,...
