Store #1135, General Manager: Jordas Reyes
If I could give this Best Buy no stars, I would.
This might possibly be the most unprofessional and uncomfortable Best Buy I have ever stepped foot in, and might be the reason I never step foot in another one again.
This Best Buy has product in stock, and the employees MARK IT DEFECTIVE/SAY IT WAS RETURNED DEFECTIVE TO SAVE FOR EMPLOYEES TO TAKE HOME/FOR FRIENDS!
This Best Buy LIED and refused to sell a product so their employee could get it, and the craziest part is, THEY WERE ALL IN ON IT. This can't be the first time they have done this and the corruption at this store goes all the way to the top, LITERALLY. I have been shopping at Best Buy for over 15 years, have been to stores all over the country and have never experienced anything this blatantly corrupt and wrong.
Jordas Reyes, the General Manager has zero control over his team and runs cover for Marcie, the Assistant Manager (and a liar), she would then run cover for David the Sales Manger (also a liar), who then ran cover for Ricky (technically the only one who did come clean for a brief moment), the staff member who the product was being saved for. I was told by Ricky once the managers had walked away "You just want me to tell you the truth if it will make you feel better man?? I am saving this for a friend in Miami, and there is nothing you can do about it". My jaw dropped to the floor. I then went and told Marcie what her employee had just said, she then proceeded to run more cover for him as Ricky predictably said "uhhhhh no", and of course, with a big smirk on his face. Now they had all made me out to be a crazy guy making things up.
I refused to accept being ganged up on and bullied by the ENTIRE staff at this store, and I said "I wasn't going to stand here and let them run cover so an employee could snatch a product out from under a paying customer."
Once they realized they had been caught in their scheme/lie, I was then forcibly removed from the store for seeking the truth, and wanting the appropriate customer service and David had the nerve to try to play bouncer and put his hands on me as well. At this Best Buy the customer is always right, until they are being forcibly removed from the store for going against the stores corrupt employees.
This is not over, Best Buy will answer for this corrupt store, its corrupt employees and this insane lack of respect for customer service and basic respect.
They need to clean house at store #1135 ASAP before Best Buy permanently loses loyal customers due to corruption and customer service that ranks as some of the lowest to ever be experienced.
AVOID THIS BEST BUY LIKE THE PLAGUE UNTIL HONEST MANAGEMENT IS...
Read moreI've been to this Best Buy a few times and the summation of my experiences has been disappointingly negative... When I came in to buy a television, I was approached by four different employees who asked to help me and didn't even pretend to show any dignity after I told them I was just looking, quickly turning away to hunt for another sale rather than helping me find the television I was looking for, until the Magnolia representative accosted me and directed me to the rather cozy Magnolia room which far exceeded my budget, or so I thought, until he had mentioned the Best Buy "store card" that was explained to me as an option to finance a purchase that I initially could not have afforded out of pocket, but could certainly afford over the course of twenty-four months which seemed more than reasonable for a man like myself who is becoming a police officer in the near future (fingers crossed), so, once it was made clear to me that I could afford anything in the store I bought a 65 inch Samsung Curved 4k TV, a Sonos playbar, the AudioQuest 3.3 foot carbon 4k HDMI cable, a Chief Full Motion TV Wallmount, and a bottle of refreshing Sprite, which ended up being the only thing I actually could enjoy to its fullest, because this tremendous bill ended up being for as my apartment was robbed the day after installation, with no hope of recovery, and when I went to the store at Coconut Point, believing that I could be helped, they tell me that they can't cover my theft or take the payment off my card, and that they don't even recognize me, despite my incredibly large purchase only a few days prior, which has now left me in tremendous debt has effected my personal life deeply and the thought of criminal scum enjoying my hard earned purchase sickens and infuriates me. That's why I am taking a star off. Best Buy you need to get your...
Read moreBest Buy over the years, in my experience, has had a history of mixed customer service. A few times memorably good, and more than I care to admit disappointing or slightly frustrating, but never rude or memorably bad. Thursday night was the first time I remember ever having an exceptionally poor customer service experience. I knowingly given false information and felt written off in order to clock out a few minutes sooner. Even in spite of a co-worker witnessing what was going on trying to correct it by attempting to offer to help locating the item and met by resilience. If not already frustrating, throw in the fact that I had rushed over from another store that was almost thirty minutes away after calling ahead to confirm their inventory. Overall I unnecessarily had my gas and more than hour of my time completely wasted. As upsetting as it was at the time, tonight it was righted by a team leader and geek squad employee. Justin and Kevin were their names if my memory serves me correctly. They were not only very understanding and kind but went above and beyond to make things right. I feel they deserve to be recognized for how gracefully they handled everything. I don't feel it's appropriate to include the original employee's name as frustrating as the whole situation was. We never know what someone might be going through in their life that might affect their work and so therefore I always try and give the benefit of doubt. I'm not trying to affect someone's job from a single poor experience, we're all human. That being said, at least the right people are in charge and that's...
