Painting with a Twist — Attraction in San Carlos Park

A bit of conflicting information. “Pop in DIY” sounded like a lot of fun for myself & my daughter as she’s on spring break & had been asking to do a craft. Thought about reserving but decided against it since I wasn’t sure what time we would go & it’s posted multiple places that walk ins are welcome.

Spoke with someone when I called as I was out front (closed sign on the door) who said reservations were required. If so, I would recommend updating your website to state that everywhere.

EDIT TO ADD: Responses from the owner is clearly lacking any true care for customers. While ONE part says reservations it’s listed several other places WALK INS WELCOME! RESERVE OR WALK IN! If it’s not a walk in thing, remove it from your website?

Furthermore - as I was sitting outside the next slot to “reserve” was in 15 minutes. Are you going to have someone on call that quickly? Doubtful considering when I was on the phone the employee said “are you there?” I said yes, to which they said “sorry, we don’t have an artist”. So even if I booked as I was sitting right there, I would have been out of luck with a nonrefundable booking fee lost until it was convenient for...

We drove 35 minutes from Cape Coral for a special mom/daughter day. The pop in and paint hours were advertised as10am - 5pm, my daughter and I arrived at 10:50am there was a sign saying "will return at 11" so we figured okay no big deal we were in a mall, we'll go kill time until 11. Get back at 11:03, still no one there. Decided to wait until 11:30, still no one. Went shopping instead and drove by after we were finished at 12:10, STILL NOT OPEN. That's just bad business, don't waste people's time and gas with false advertising.

Reply - you need to update your website, it literally states pop in or make reservation (see below). If reservation (or notice) is required it shouldn't be listed as walk in hours?? Also, why the "will be back at 11" sign when that was not the case either. You might be a beloved small business, but regardless you should not have "walk in hours" listed on your website if a reservation (or notice) is required because that's clearly not the same thing.

My family and I had an amazing time! Our instructor Brianna is so sweet, hospitable, fun, creative, live and extremely patient. I celebrated my birthday doing this for the 1st time and let me tell you, it is definitely one for the books! It's everything a gathering for a special occasion is for. I will so do this again and will highly highly recommend booking any type of private event with Painting with a Twist. We were able to bring food, non alcoholic drinks, cake etc. The facility is extremely inviting and sets the vibe. Thank you Ginna for helping me book my special event and Thank you BRIANNA for your OUTSTANDING service. You really went above and beyond. Thank you for assisting with the kiddos at times so the adults could continue their paintings; that was a huge plus.
