I was introduced to Mean Mugs by Instagram blogger @loveswfl. I visited two businesses that she suggested in her posts.
Here's my perspective on my visit. In my opinion, the prices are quite high, so be prepared to spend a bit of money.
My wife and I ordered a milkshake a piece that cost $24.00, and if you want the souvenir glass, that's an additional $3.00.
We were surprised to find that it was located in the front entrance of a bowling alley. So it's quite loud in the front lobby where you sit to enjoy your expensive milkshake.
The milkshakes were prepared and presented exactly as shown in the Instagram post, which was impressive. However, I was expecting to receive the milkshakes in a glass, like the ones pictured on Instagram, but instead, they were served in small plastic cups. When I inquired about this, the employee informed me that there would be an additional $3.00 charge for the glass.
While the presentation was accurate, I was disappointed with the small serving size.
Overall, we tried Mean Mugs but likely won't return.
