We went to this location today to purchase a few items. As we approached the counter to pay, and the cashier was ringing up our items, we noticed she was interrupted by someone that was talking to her through her headset. At that moment, she proceeded to tell me that we could only buy one Oxford shirt, and only one of any of the other item in the store. I found this to be quite absurd as I wanted to purchase three Oxford shirts, and six other miscellaneous items all different in styles (9 items in total). When I asked why they were giving me a hard time, their response was: "we were given these instructions by the store manager, Lake". At point, a manager by the name of Felipe approached the counter. He was accompanied by another manager by the name of Julio. I asked them why they would assist me in finding these items, and wait until I approached the counter to pay, only to single me out and belittle me in front of other customers and associates. Their response was the same: "we were told to do so by Lake, the general manager". As a resident of Naples, I have been shopping at this Polo location for a very long time. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect, and lack of professionalism. I felt embarrassed and discriminated against. To add insult to injury, there was a female in the store with a buggy full of items, substantially more than I had, and they rang her up with no problem, no questions asked. Apparently, Julio found it comical to wave goodbye to me with a snarky grin on his face as I was walking out of the store. I`m not sure if this was racially motivated. But ironically, after reading their latest reviews, I do not doubt it. I will certainly be contacting their corporate office regarding this. A truly...
Read moreI bought one of a toddler dress in here and forgot when did I got it as I have been in this store quiet often. When I got home some of the staff that I purchased I just put it in my closet as it is a xmas gift. One day as I am trying to wrap presents, The dress that I got happened to have still that black detector thing that attached to the clothes and unfortunately I donât have my receipt at all because itâs been few months or so! When I went to the store for them to remove it they are looking for my receipt that I cannot find at all and sounds like they are kind of accusing that I am shoplifting the 24$ dress coz they wonât remove until I have the receipt which first and for all it is the cashierâs fault of not removing it after I paid it! Luckily I think about my cc statements because I am sure it is in there since I am just using cc with all the purchases that I have in there. When I showed them all the transactions that I have from them, then they said they cannot still find it from there! Crazy and horrible experience that I have though they ended up taking it as per say I am a long time customer in there! Stupid that they cannot fix their own mistakes of being a absent minded...
Read moreI purchased three short sleeved polo style shirts here in Estero. The shirts were not the quality I would expect from Ralph Lauren. I would not expect there to be a quality difference between the outlet store brand and the regular retail store brand. The shirts were sized 3XLT. Two of the shirts shrank 3" in length and 2" in width to the point they were not longer wearable after the first laundering. The polos were washed in cold water and delicate dryer cycle so no heat involved in the wash/dry cycle. I contacted Ralph Lauren Polo online customer service multiple times to no resolution. Pictures were submitted with receipts to the customer service email. Basically the message sent to me from the online customer service was the outlet shop did not have the same fit/quality guarantee that the "regular" Polo clothes stores have. Unfortunately, I am not local shopper and visit the Estero location when on vacation and cannot visit the store to discuss a refund for the poor quality. Not being a local shopper is why I contacted online customer service for the brand instead of visiting the Estero store again. It is disappointing to spend money on items that cannot be worn...
