i have to say i used to attend the location up in San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles. And since the opened a branch down here in san diego i was totally stoked. its always clean and professional, and the first associate to invite me in was "mimi". I had explained to her about my previous information from the location up in LA. And she was able to transfer all my medical info and allocate me to the necessary medical check ups i needed. Amongst other optometry locations i have been to the past were it seems like they want to sale sale sale and make a quick buck from a patient. "Mimi" went out of her way and explained in thorough detail on the devices and protocol the facility takes in order to make sure my health and vision are with out any issues. On another note, they have a vast selection of frames from High end to the low end spectrum which is awesome. i was honestly overwhelemd with so much selection, that "mimi" was able to introduce me to the styles and fit that would match my facial structure. made my life sooooooo easy!!!! i did have an unfortunate issue with a particular manufacturer of a pair of frames i had. And "mimi" was able to assist and handle the issue in a quick and easy manor. If you ever go here to get your eyes checked or simply check out there selection/or have any questions i HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU ASK FOR "MIMI" she is soooo inviting and awesome attitude and genuinely has the patient/ customer best interest at heart. i come year after year and i always ask for her, and always has an awesome smile on her. I can't say the same with some of the other associates that are there with a sour face and receive you really cold.....but as for "mimi" she is always willing to help wether you are gonna buy or not. i recommend you come to this business for any of your medical needs and...

I've had a very bad experience with this glass store and the optometry doctor. I used to be with them for years, till when I got a very off prescription and made my new glasses has obvious different vision from the two eyes.

What's more horrible is, they refuse to admit their eye exam has problem, leave me aside at the counter, and clerk start working on something else. Their information is clear: "I know I am wrong, but you suck it".

After waiting so long while keep asking for it, another clerk came to deal my case. She keep arguing it's because my eyes changed a lot after the eye exam. Going through so many argument and negotiation, they finally agree to use my 5-6yrs ago pre-scription also done with this eye Dr. to make a new glass for me. YES! no correction on eye exam, not think my eyes changes after the exam 1month ago, but they use a 5-6yr old exam result making a new glass for me, and they believe it will fit!!!

And that wrong pre-scription always exist in my insurance history and every time I made a new glass, I have to explain why my offset is changing backwards.

I had a very bad experience with this service. Before coming in, I asked for the price of the eye exam. They told me it would be $129, including a prescription for both glasses and contact lenses — which was all I needed.

However, after the eye exam, they gave me a trial pair of contact lenses and told me I had to pay an additional $70 for a 7-day supply. Then they tried to sell me a full year’s supply of daily contact lenses. When I told them I didn’t want to buy anything, just the prescription, they told me I needed to come back next week for a follow-up before they could give it to me.

Two days before the follow-up, I received a reminder text, but it only gave the option to confirm by replying “Y” — no option to cancel, which seemed unprofessional. I called directly to cancel and asked them to email me my prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses. They never responded and never sent the prescriptions.

In total, I paid $199 for an eye exam and a 7-day supply of contact lenses, but I never received the prescriptions I paid for.

I recommend staying away from this place if you just need an eye exam and don’t want to be pressured into buying...
