This is a scam company. Don’t waste your time. My husband ordered balloons to celebrate our wedding anniversary and asked that they be delivered to our hotel room. When we arrived at the room, the balloons were deflated and lying on the hotel room floor. Clearly this is not how the balloons should have been delivered to us. Furthermore, the balloons received were not the balloons that he had ordered. The balloons he ordered were a bear theme but the balloons I received had the words “Baby Girl” written on them. These balloons were for our first wedding anniversary so the Baby Girl balloons were by no means a sufficient substitution nor a substitution he would ever approve. In addition, I never signed for the balloons and had they been presented to me deflated and the wrong balloons, I would have refused delivery and Balloon Stories would owe me a full refund if I had the chance to sign for them myself. When he spoke to Balloon Stories a couple of days later, he was assured that a refund would be issued. Unfortunately, we only received a refund for half of the purchase price.

Balloon Stories didn’t deliver what I ordered and what they did deliver was in a state of disrepair. I should have received a refund in full and not had to open a dispute with my credit card company.

Reply: I have proof of what my husband ordered and we do have pictures of deflated balloons. We offered to send them to you but you were not interested. We even called to have you pick them up but only got a machine. You didn't even deliver them when you were supposed to, because you complained of a flat tire, and when you did trust me the balloons WERE deflated. The balloons sat in a hot car with a flat tire. You don't think that will compromise the quality of balloons? People get flat tires that is understandable, I am not saying that is your fault, but stand behind your business and give a complete refund upon dissatisfaction because it is not our fault either. I don't care if you are a small family business. So what? We are a small family. Why should we pay for deflated balloons because you got a flat tire? This is not fair at all. Very disappointing experience from start to finish. I had arranged for in-store pick-up for a birthday bouquet, and the balloons weren't ready when I arrived because the store had accidentally scheduled them for a different day. Upon request, the owner did agree to deliver them to my house later that same day. But, the product that was delivered was very hastily designed with limited color options and poor attention to detail. I had requested the San Diego Padres City Connect color way for a nine-year-old boy birthday, and received a bouquet with a fuchsia pink number "9" and balloons in aqua and fuchsia, but none of the yellow/gold color to complete the "City Connect" combination. The bouquet also didn't stand upright, and a couple balloons popped after installation because the bouquet kept toppling over, while one of the baseball balloons fell off the display altogether. The latex balloons lost volume overnight as well.

The poor, rushed quality combined with the scheduling oversight was unacceptable for the amount I paid, despite the delivery service to try to rectify the situation. 1/10...
