When considering a yoga studio, ambiance and facility quality significantly impact the experience. Core Power Yoga, unfortunately, falls short in these aspects. The studio's state of disrepair and an unmistakable smell of mold or mildew are immediate red flags for anyone seeking a clean, serene environment for their practice. Moreover, it appears that Core Power Yoga's corporate oversight is lacking, particularly concerning the support and maintenance of their studios. This is especially concerning given the high membership fees charged, which one would expect to contribute towards a well-maintained and functioning facility. Several visits to different locations have revealed a pattern of neglect, including lack of hot water in showers and issues with heating systems that compromise the quality of hot yoga classes — a core offering that should never be compromised. Such inconsistencies not only detract from the overall experience but also raise questions about the value for money and the brand's commitment to providing a premium service. Given these experiences, it's challenging to recommend Core Power Yoga. While the quality of yoga instruction may still be high, the physical conditions and operational oversights are significant drawbacks. Prospective members are advised to consider these factors carefully and perhaps look into other studios that prioritize both the quality of their classes and the condition of their facilities.

Carra J is absolutely incredible. My best friend and I were traveling from out of town and decided to pick up her class on a whim. When we showed up, we were the only people in class and Carra went above and beyond to make it a special experience for us. She was mindful of substitutions and met us where we were at. It meant a lot to us as we are not as as advanced as the standard yogi. Being a new mom postpartum… I rarely get time to myself, and this was already going to be a treat for me. However, I didn’t anticipate how wonderful the class would be. The playlist was amazing and included the instrumental version of the life of a showgirl. One of my favorite albums at the moment! Also, she did hands-on adjustments and showed me how to use blocks to better support my at home practice. I wish I lived local so I could go to her class every week. She is absolutely incredible and you will not be disappointed. Also, she has a very...

As a beginner, this was my second hot yoga class and first at this location. I made it clear to them that I was new when I got there. After about a half an hour I began to feel light headed and took a break. I went back in, determined to keep on going but eventually had to leave because I didn’t want to become a heat casualty. After I took a shower and was sitting in the lobby still sweating, the instructor opened the door of the studio and asked if I needed my parking validated. Not one word about if I was ok or how I was doing. It was very dismissive. I understand that there’s the rest of the class there to attend to, but especially as a new student, I would hope that the teacher would have recognized that and shown a little interest or concern. That was my experience. I...
