Start your review of Siamo Napoli. Antonella V. Fort Lauderdale, FL 054 5/18/2021 4 photos Today my husband and I decided to dine at Siamo Napoli after more than a year we haven't been there. The food is always the best!!! i Am Italian and my husband leaved in Italy for 12 year.. we are very picky about Italian food and this is the only spot that makes us feel back home!!! Starting from the owners, Flavio, Sasa and Giovanni that they make you feel like we are part of the family.. they are amazing and they make you feel you are in Napoli. The rest of the staff are also amazing, Melissa was so nice and Jhon is a great bartender. The owners surprised us with two amazing appetizers, fritto misto (calamari, shrimp and olives) and mussels and clams, everything was fresh and well cooked, it tasted just like in Amalfi coast. We had pizzas and everything was perfect, perfect crust and amazing flavors. I got the friarelli and salsiccia and my husband had the Piccante pizza. They also offer desserts but we were too full so the owner Flavio brought some limoncello which i recommend everyone to try it after dinner. This place is the best and I recommend to everyone who wants to spend some time in Italy without...
Read moreSiamo Napoli is located in North park and can be found on the Michelin guide. The restaurant was recommended to us so we gave them a try. It’s a quaint, rustic restaurant decorated with faux foliage. Initially, we were seated at a table near a large party, but one of the diners at that party was clearly enjoying all the libations he could; he was overly loud and extremely obnoxious. It wouldn’t have been an issue had he not used unsavory words and phrases in his conversations that my 12 year old could clearly hear. We asked to move tables and we were sat at a table that was occupied by flies. However annoying the flies, I preferred their presence over the one diner who lacked etiquette. The owner and restaurant manager were excellent though. They were both friendly, extremely personable and highly effective at diffusing a situation.
Initially, nothing on the menu struck my fancy, but when they mentioned they had osso bucco with risotto as a special, I was sold. The meat was tender and flavorful. The risotto was good, but it was overcooked and a tad mushy. My daughter ordered their margherita pizza with prosciutto which she unfortunately, didn’t like much. The prosciutto on the pizza was delicious, but it could have used more sauce. We also ordered their antipasto di mare (octopus, calamari, shrimp, arugula and green olives) and burratina with prosciutto as appetizers. The burrata was absolutely scrumptious. The cheese was soft, prosciutto salty, the greens fresh and bright. I thought the antipasto plate was beautiful and fresh, but I found it bland. Along with the food, I ordered an Old Fashioned which was balanced and smooth.
For dessert, we were given a limoncello cake as well as a Nutella cake, on the house, and we ordered a pistachio cheesecake on top of that. Out of the three, the limoncello cake was unanimously our favorite. The cake was moist, the sweet and tart flavors were balanced. I’m not a fan of Nutella so that cake, for me, was undesirable. The pistachio cheesecake was not what we expected. We thought it would be a plain cheesecake with a pistachio layer or crumb topping. For me, the cheesecake ate monotonously.
The cost of dinner was roughly 380+ (with tip) and we may visit again, but not anytime in the...

My wife and I had a spectacular experience and meal on Thursday night. We've both traveled in Italy, and this very surprisingly reminded us of being there. It really has that kind of vibe.
We're neighborhood people and had known about this place for quite some time, kept intending to go, but never had. Thursday we went out intending to have dinner at a different place, but that didn't work out and we started walking up 30th knowing there's no shortage of other places. Got to the door here and went in. And we are both so glad we did! When we walked in, both a hostess and someone who may be a/the owner greeted us. The hostess asked if we had a reservation. Nope, but it didn't matter. They seated us immediately anyway, despite the place being a bit busy and getting busier.
Then, Eduardo. Ah, Eduardo. What an absolute treasure! We had barely settled into our chairs and picked up the menus when he first walked by, letting us know "I'll be with you in a moment" as he passed That is amazingly attentive. Barely a minute later, maybe not even that, he reappeared and apologized for the delay in greeting us!
Things only continued to get even better from there. Eduardo gave us a fantastic wine recommendation based on our statement we like Sauvignon blanc and vague request use that guideline for a suggestion of something different and from Italy.
The entire time, my wife and I commented to each other about how impressive everything was, observing all the front of house staff as they did their work taking care of customers and everything else.
The food. Omg. Based on consultation with Eduardo, we had the linguini mare and pizza dello chef, to have a bit of both pasta and pizza, with the seafood pasta pairing well with our wine. The seasonal pizza dello chef that night was a margherita with fresh arugula, shingles of real prosciutto, shaved Parm, and burrata in the center. Wow was it all good.
For desert we chose tartufo, also great. And drinks including a tough choice from their selection of amaros. I'm pretty sure they were closed by the time we left.
Thank you to everyone, especially Eduardo! We will...
