I originally was not going to write a review regarding my post Brazilian sugar waxing experience, but it has been over 2 months since my second waxing treatment and I am still suffering and experimenting with over 6 different products to alleviate the massive breakout of bacterial bumps (looks like pimples but they are clustered bumps due to open skin exposure to bacteria, causing clogged lumps)

I was satisfied with the waxing and duration of hair removal in the ONLY area that should have been waxed. But the esthetician made the decision to also apply the sugar waxing treatment on areas that had no hair or peach fuzz. As a result, I noticed a massive and honestly traumatizing amount of bumps in my Brazilian wax area in addition to my behind and inner groin region. Before this experience I had never broken out in any sort of bacterial or pimple like growths on my body. Just my face like most individuals

I have spent hundreds of dollars purchasing acne body wash, topicals and sprays I’ve researched methods to get rid of these clogged bacteria within my waxed skin I even carry anti bacterial body wipes and immediately clean the area after my workout and shower asap.

When I contacted them I was informed that the esthetician “can’t speak to clients post treatment” or something of the sort. Which makes no sense as she was the one who elected to wax areas I did not need any waxing done and now I have this extremely j appealing amount of lumps in my private region which has negatively influenced aspects of my life as well as my self/body image confidence.

I know for a fact this aftermath is due to this specific businesses (products, method, and/or estheticians) because I’ve had various people recommend sugar waxing and none of them had an experience or any side effects like I STILL DO. This review is for the purpose of informing paying customers about my traumatic and irreversible experience, as I would not wish anyone to have to battle (essentially female private region clusters of Pimple like bacterial skin lumps)

I have had KP symptoms and have spent nearly over $500 on products to alleviate the symptoms caused by the waxing performed at envious skin. SHADY BUSINESS ALERT. DONT use this salon when there are so many others that aren’t just trying to steal your personal billing information to charge randomly! I purchased a prepaid set of waxes off of Groupon. When I called to schedule an appointment they required that I provide full credit card information to book. When I said I’d already paid, they said they needed my credit card information in case I was a no show so they could bill me for the full price of the session ($60) I asked if I could walk in and they said even if I walked in with my prepaid voucher they still needed credit card information even though I would physically walk in for on the spot service...This COMPLETELY undermines their reasoning for taking the credit card information in the first place- obviously if I walk in I showed up for my appointment... so why do you need my credit card information again??? At this point the entire thing felt really shady and untrustworthy. How do I know they aren’t going to throw in some lotion or service and then charge me after my appointment for it? And if they have my information they are free to charge me based on whatever services they think the rendered at any time and then after the fact I need to make the case why they don’t have at will access to my money??? Also, if for whatever reason I was human and missed my appointment, something that was a prepaid $16 service would cost an additional $60 AND I wouldn’t even get the actual service! The woman on the phone kept spinning me in circles about it, she was extremely rude and condescending, and she even decided it was appropriate to put me on hold midway through our conversation for another call which absolutely flabbergasted me because when I first called I got voicemail and left a message for a callback, yet my call was unimportant enough to be interrupted. I’m sorry you don’t want to answer questions about your shady and bogus credit card information stealing policies for a literal paying customer. I didn’t even make it into the salon and this is my experience. There are so many good salons out there offering good customer service and sensical billing policies. I had the privilege of experiencing the art of sugaring for my eyebrows and a nose wax with the talented Kim. For some time, I had been contemplating whether or not to groom and shape my eyebrows. Past experiences had left me hesitant, as they often resulted in overly thin and feminine brows. However, Kim assured me that she would be mindful and simply enhance the natural shape of my eyebrows. She handed me a mirror, allowing me to witness the transformation as she delicately worked on the first brow. The final outcome was not only impressive, but it still maintained a strong and masculine appearance. It was the perfect shape and look! Additionally, Kim inquired if I had ever tried nose waxing. Intrigued, I decided to give it a go, and it was truly life-altering! The process was swift, and the sensation of cleanliness and freshness was unparalleled.
