Full disclosure. This review is for a specific haircut given to my 7 year old. Today was the second time katie cut my 2 year olds hair and she does a good job and listens to what I want. However, I came in for 2 haircuts for my kids. My 2 year old (cut by katie) was good. My issue is the cut given to my 7 year old. A man cut my 7 year olds hair. I showed him a photo and watched as he started. Everything was looking good and he looked like he was about done. My 2 year old then needed to use the restroom and when I came out of the bathroom a hard part was being shaven into my son's head. I never wanted a hard part, not sure if there was a miscommunication as katie did the talking for the male barber but the photo I showed them had no hard part. On top of that the hard part was TERRIBLE. Its so wide. By the time I came out of thr bathroom with my 2 year old katie was trying to assist the man in what i assumed they realized was a total mistake. But it was too late. I got close to look and was devastated. I commented that the part was so wide and the man made no response, I did not make a scene because I didn't want to upset my son who is supposed to start school in a week. I could've let it go if they accidentally added a hard part I didn't ask for but this was beyond that. If you are going to bring your kid here, katie is the only person I would use. Have had 2 haircuts at GQ Barber. First was done by one of the female barbers and I was satisfied with the cut, which is why I came back the second time. But second time a guy cut my hair and was far different in quality. So much less than satisfactory that I thought about going back for a redo the next morning. But afraid they would give me the same guy again. He seemed to be in a hurry as soon as a new customer walked in the door. I felt like he wanted to move onto the next customer to make more money. But unfortunately he had not finished my cut yet. I just don't see myself going back there again. Unfortunate, but the quality varies too much...

Probably the worst haircut I've ever had. I told her I don't spike the front of my hair, so she cuts it so it can be spiked in the front. So I had her redo the front for how I wanted my hair. Okay, honest mistake I guess.

I get home and notice that she left chunks of hair at the bottom of my neck. Upon further inspection, I found uneven sections and lines around my head.
