My first visit was great! I called ahead to schedule a gel pedicure, and the receptionist who helped me was very kind and professional. However, she didn’t mention that there was a cash promotion for a gel mani + pedi combo. I later found out about it during my second visit. The pedicure itself cost just under $55 and included a relaxing massage and full cleanup of my nail beds and cuticles. The salon was spotless, organized, and peaceful — I could even listen to my show with no noise or interruption. I left happy enough to book a manicure a few days later. My second visit wasn’t as good. I got an acrylic refill with a few charms that ended up costing just under $85 (plus tip), even though I was quoted around $45–$55. I work night shifts in healthcare and had just come off a long shift, so I was tired and didn’t notice at the time that my cuticles weren’t cleaned up. After getting home and resting, I saw glue or gel residue left all over my nails and realized the cleanup hadn’t been done. When booking, they do ask for your debit or credit card information in case you miss your appointment and are charged a no-show fee (they didn’t mention the amount, so I’d recommend asking). When paying after my manicure, I also learned about a cash promotion — $65 for a gel mani + pedi with a rewards card, but the rewards program only applies if you pay in cash. I wish that had been mentioned when I first called to book my pedicure, since I definitely would’ve brought cash. Overall, the salon is beautiful, clean, and the staff is kind, but pricing transparency and service consistency could be improved. šŸ“ø Photos show my pedicure and manicure results, including residue and lack of cuticle cleanup after my manicure plus other relevant photos.

Been going to this shop because it’s close and one of the only ones to use hard gel. Tammy was a solid nail tech but often rude. I needed my nail fixed. (It broke after she did them three days ago) I called to see if Tammy would be able to fix it and she said she would be available at 5:15, I was shocked because this place is very busy. Walked in and Tammy seemed extremely frustrated, waving her hand for me to move, not filing or cutting my nails directly. After she was done just throwing my nail together she waved her hand for me to leave and pay. She proceeded to greet another customer extremely politely. I always tip, apologize when I’m late, and have attempted to make conversation which usually goes nowhere. The worst part is the nail that was fixed is longer than all my nails and looks ridiculous. Unfortunately I’ll have to find another nail shop šŸ˜”

As a return customer I was reading other reviews and found that it’s a pattern maybe they start slacking off so they can remove current customers from coming back . I have to agree I don’t see the one who filed my nails so bad but I’m disappointed regarding my last appt … it’s a shame you have to ask the customer if they need a massage or lotion,?? I was bothered by this as I’m paying $40 and considering a tip ! Hmmm not a good felling I liked the gel mani but the color wasn’t what I really asked for I just went along with it ,,, why ,,, I figure it’s strange she didn’t know what opaque meant I choose a sheer color to get an iridescent/glittery topcoat ended up with a neon light blue. I just wanted to intensify the sheer color I was going for I could’ve corrected her it but I needed to get this done and get out. I’m prob going to skip my next visit or probably going to check the other million nail shops around San Diego who really take pride in their customers needs, especially when a massage and lotion are included in a manicure regardless! She was asked to take the second customer, and I think that’s why she wanted to kinda skip the massage as if?? I’m not a paying customer! Disappointed. My one star rating is for the front desk, lady and the color I was trying to explain anyway who’s in charge has no customer service whatsoever. She was getting so confrontational about the punchcard. I was never offered one coming here for several months. It’s like if you pay cash, you don’t get a stamp ? It’s like she didn’t want to credit me ? It’s a service that should get stamped regardless if you pay cash or card I thought that was pretty funny and ridiculous. I’m not surprised and I have to say this because it’s most asian ones that throw this attitude bad customer service always a wait to Nickel and dime ya … :( This experience I get from Asian decent mostly I have no problem saying it they don’t speak the language correctly and throughout the salons I’ve experienced the reason why I come here was for one reason that was Kate. She’s pretty nice and just a little disappointed on the last service only because she had been asked to do a pedicure there was a customer waiting for her while I’m still the customer and I am not complete with my service. I should’ve got the same service as before a massage as she usually does but she asked me if I wanted one??? . I almost felt like saying no, but I said yes I do. I’m paying for the service not sure I’ll be coming back, but I think I’ll pay a visit to that front desk lady her tactics are stupid and gonna give her back her punchcard. Really this is what I get for being their customer. Sad they’re gonna lose one not worth my time like I said there’s a million nail salons I can’t wait to try that treats me w care and respect why I changed was they stop respecting you as a regular customer ! Never been difficult on my end and making up rules as she goes ! No stamp ladies if your paying cash since your getting a small discount !! Wow stupid ! Just realized her idiotic way of thinking how these people stay in business I wonder … eventually they will loose business with this type of behavior. Loosing your reputation quickly ! Not nice to be rude like that when I’m paying for a service regardless . Oh and I may keep the card to prove it DOES NOT say if you pay by cash you will not be given a stamp. Let’s follow protocol lady. Watch the punch card may change wordage I’m not gonna waste my time @my gas, but if I’m in the neighborhood, I’m gonna still keep my stamp card to show proof of the original wordage . I will post...

Booked a gel manicure with nail art on their website. My friend wanted to join so she called to add her name to the reservation time and told them verbally that we both wanted dips with nail art instead of gel. When we arrived I was told that because I hadn’t booked dip on my manicure I couldn’t get dip even though my friend had told them to change it over the phone. The Russian blonde lady who gave me a manicure didn’t know how to do dip so she couldn’t only do gel. I thought that was weird. She then proceded to file off my previous gel manicure, never using acetone or any remover even when I asked, and she RUINED my nail beds. She filed the crap out of my nails and when I said ow can you do that differently she denied my request. They had a second girl doing my pedicure and both ladies doing my nails were so BAD at their job I highly doubt they have the proper papers or degrees to be working there. They both got dust and hairs in the wet nail polish and when I pointed it out they tried to file it away. I had to ask them to redo it correctly. They both took forever and painted all around the skin of the nails and poorly cleaned it up. When I asked for nail art they told me I couldnt have any because they didn’t know how to even though that was the whole reason I went to that salon In the first place and had booked it with my reservation. The owner came over and ended up doing some basic nail art for me after I told them I was dissatisfied. He treated me like I was lucky to have any moment of his time, was super rude and stuck up and literally was doing nothing the entire time I was getting bad service from the other technicians. So it was strange that taking some time to help a customer would be an inconvenience to him. After I went home that evening my nails hurt so bad from being filed so aggressively I wrote them on Instagram telling them I had a bad experience and that the lady had filed my nails to much despite me asking her not to. Three weeks later I got a response telling me to never come back to their salon again because I didn’t know what real service was and I had too high expectations of them and they couldn’t please me??!! I’ve gone to many salons and never had a bad experience or pain in my nails like this. It took months for my nails to heal and recover from this spot. Steer clear. Also their waxing service in the back is disgusting and they did a horrible job on my face hairs. Feels like they are breaking the law and need the health inspector...

Called to make an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure. After looking at their website I was expecting to pay I think $68 for their special. They booked me at 6pm I showed up early, the salon is way too busy. You sit so close to every other client. My toes were fine just white gel. My nails were not what I wanted what so ever. They looked horrible and so sloppy. I could tell the nail tech was rushing because I was the last one there and they closed at 7. They knew I wanted both gel mani and pedi so I’m not sure why they booked me so late. My nails looked like I did them myself at home. I go to checkout and they also ā€œclosedā€ their payment/cash register. So they asked if I could Venmo or Zelle them money. Weird but I didn’t mind. They said the total was going to be $96. I didn’t see how but I’m not one to say anything so I just paid and tipped both techs. So I total of $120. On their website it says the total includes gel removal. So I went on my trip, I came back and of course the gel was grown out and I wanted it off. Multiple nails were chipped from the gel that was suppose to last ā€œ2 weeksā€ I called and booked an appt to get it removed so I wasn’t inconveniencing anyone. I go in and they ask me multiple times if I want to redo the gel. I say no thank you just remove. The lady seems irritated, removes it, using random tools from her cart? Didn’t soak nails. Used hand piece on level 13 and burned my nail. It was up way too high and was very hot. Not sterilized, nothing new from plastic wrappers. Used file and buffer. I go to checkout and they said it’s $10. Which isn’t a lot but I wasn’t expecting to pay more because their website says gel removal included. It’s way too busy and awkward to say anything for $10 so I pay. I hand the lady my debit card and she says cash only? No where does it says it’s cash only. I said I don’t have cash, she rudely says remember next time. She then takes my card and makes the transaction with the card reader they have, so I’m not sure how it’s cash only. I still tipped $6 on a $10 service. But this place seems very sus and fraudulent with their prices. This place is very busy and doesn’t care about individual client...
