A-1 Glass — Local services in San Francisco

I was recommended this place by a friend who has grown up here in San Francisco, so he's highly credible. He told me this place was the most affordable in the entire city, and they do quality work too. I went there today after waking up to the sad reality that some jerk broke my front passenger window, for no reason apparently. I'm living out of my car right now thanks to the housing crisis, so this was an exceptionally bad thing to wake up to. But these guys were really kind and did a wonderful job on the repair. I called around the city to compare prices and they were in fact the best deal. They even cleaned all the broken glass inside my car! I wasn't expecting that! Very nice people doing high quality work at the lowest rates in the city!...

I wish I could write a better review. When my window was broken they were responsive and came to me the same day to fix the window for a reasonable price: I was happy, albeit I'm still waiting for a invoice from them. The next month the window stopped rolling down. A-1 Glass was totally unreachable to address the installation issue and I had to go to another shop to have it addressed. A1 did not reinstall mounting pins for the glass. The cost of repairs was twice the price of the original glass replacement. I can't recommend this business... if they are still...

I love this place, hidden gem! These people are kind and compassionate people,my car window was broken and my uncle was going to teach me how to install my own window, so I called over six places around the SF area and this place had the best pricing, you literally cannot beat it. The guy was kinds enough to let me use their vacuum and after hearing that I was going to learn how to do it, he wined up showing me and teaching me......😭. So compassionate.... This was my second window break and I really needed to save money....I would totally...
