We recently bought the latest Dyson vacuum that basically mops the floor and vacuums as well as their newest top of the line (for power) models. Unfortunately, in our enthusiasm to start using them we got all the parts interchanged across the five. And with Dyson, parts ain’t parts. So newer batteries don’t work or don’t work as well on prior models. Same for the filter, even the plug! So I dragged all five vacuums down to the flagship store on Union Square, and gave poor Miguel, the sales person, the challenge of his life. Get all the right parts to the right model. He patiently watched me bring them all in and lay them right in the middle of everything. And he didn’t flinch. Shockingly, he almost instantly knew what part went with what, and in no time it was all fixed. He was patient, empathic, very professional, and didn’t make me feel like a problem or distraction. He even managed to help other customers while helping me without me feeling like I had to wait. He IS the definition of customer service in my book, making us even MORE loyal to Dyson products.
