I am updating this from 1 to 4 starts. Their SF facility is now a really high quality VR experience. The only reason I don't give it a five star, it's because the technology needs to improve so that we don't get so hot in the face from wearing the heavy gear. The duration of the experience is short but one cannot do it any longer as they would get really tired heavy gear. I wish the gear was more comfortable so that the event could be longer. It would be cool to do like two half hour experiences with an intermission in the middle. In other words, it was really fun and I wish it would have lasted longer. It's also a bit too much because for four people you got to pay $200. It's probably normal but I wish it was more affordable and we would do it more often. Anyways, overall it was super fun! And the best part is that they give you a video afterwards so that you can remember your time with your team. Both times I've done this, I've done it with my company as a team building exercise and it's always been really, really fun to have that video of your coworkers screaming like little...
Read moreTAKEAWAY: COME AN HOUR EARLY FOR FUN EXPERIENCE WITH FRIENDLY PEOPLE I see a lot of people complaining about the 10 minute policy, but if you realize you’re gonna be late ahead of time, I would suggest calling ahead of time to get it switched to a later time/date. This happened to me and Micheal was so understanding and I was able to get a later time in the same day. I would suggest coming an HOUR earlier in case of any mishaps or troubles you may have beforehand. You can see the surrounding area in the meantime. On top of that, the zombie experience was AWESOME!! Carlos was at the front and he was welcoming and helped us get our waivers signed. Cameron was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. There was some technical issues but they were resolved fairly quickly by both men mentioned above. At the end, they show a “trailer” of your vr experience. Overall, super fun and I’ll be back with a large group of friends to experience this with...
Read moreWe played Seekers of the Shard: Dragonfire at the one in San Francisco (on Market Street if there is more than one) This experience was so much fun. I'd like to give a shout out to our attendant Arial, she was awesome and took good care of us. Even though we were warned about the "are you afraid of spiders" thing, I wasn't prepared to have dozens of spiders crawling on me. I won't talk to much about who you will be fighting, but the monsters jumping out at you will definitely get your heart racing. I got a really good workout from all the dodging and attacking. If I could go back and do it again -- and I will -- the only thing I plan on changing is not playing the crossbow. I may have just been bad at it, but it was really hard to hit anything enough to kill it. Again, that isn't a complaint about the game, I just wasn't good at...
