Five Star Truffles — Local services in San Francisco

I had an extreme chocolate craving and decided to look up awesome chocolate spots in the city. I stumbled upon this one and decided to check it out.

It's in the Castro so parking was not that great, but I found that the truffles here were so affordable! They were $0.90/ truffle and we decided to do the 20 truffles for $13. It was a really great experience for me and my boyfriend who love to try out new chocolates to expand our chocolate palate. The caramels were especially rich, which I loved.

Omg i love this place so much!! First of all, the man who owns this is one of the sweetest guys, you can tell his heart and soul goes into making the truffles. One time I started chatting with him and he explained it was an art passed down from his family and it really is an art. He has so many unique flavors and puts so much love into it. Cayenne dark, and earl grey truffles were very good and flavorful. They had a nice crisp shell, and smooth inside. A bit on the smaller side, but priced well at 90 cents.

You can get a free truffle if you get a coffee beverage too. Iced coffee was good, only thing was that it was in a paper cup rather than plastic, so the condensation was a bit annoying. Cappuccino used a nice roast too.
