This is definitely NOT the place to be eating. The bread was good; thats where the positive ends. The gnocchi was grainy with a chemical after taste. The sauce was heavy on the sugar and no other flavor. The tomato sauce has no body to it just reduced tomatoes and water. Salt would have been good on anything. The meatballs had a ratio problem. They fell apart in your mouth which means there is little meat and mostly bread, but what kind of bread because it should still hold together. Again it could have used some kind of seasoning, it lacked on every level.
When I asked about how the food was prepared I was told it was made for the restaurant, so not made in house. Ergo if you don't know how your food is made, maybe don't serve it. I can understand this from a large chain like Olive Garden who we know makes everything in bags, but a local restaurant not so much. Chef Boyardee has more success with pre packaged food.
When we asked to have a plate I didn't eat removed from the bill, because of all that was not right with it we were told: we have to charge you for every plate we prepare. I have no authority to make changes to your bill. We asked to speak to a manager; our server told us they were the only manager in charge. Make...
Read moreunfortunately, I have to leave a bad review. I spent $39 for 2 items which if they had of been exceptional or even good this would be a different review... I ordered to go full order garlic bread & mushroom marsala. First, the garlic bread is so tough I could not chew it! the worst ever! if it had of been dried out like a crouton it would maybe at least been edible, but this was tough like leather! I think I was served last weeks bread, awful wasted $12 I requested mushroom marsala, no chicken, sub with extra mushrooms... I was expecting mushrooms to be the star of the dish & to have plenty mushrooms, instead I got a box of mixed vegetables which seem to be brussel sprouts, carrots & some rubbery veg I did not recognize & very little portion mushrooms. The flavor profile for the "mushroom" marsala was different tasting not traditional, not bad but not as expected, I think the mixed vegetables added to the marsala may have had a effect on the taste. Also I do not like vegetables that are half cooked. If I had of been in the neighborhood when I discovered that the food was subpar I would have went back & told them but I live about 7miles away & was already home. the photo attached is their version of mushroom...

I ordered food from Pasta Panino today and went to pick it up. When I arrived, I told the cashier I was there for my order, but he completely ignored me and started chatting with someone instead. I waited, without even an acknowledgment. The worst part? He turned out to be the owner—and instead of providing good service, he gave me more attitude. If you run a business, at least be professional. Customers are paying for their food, not begging for it.
My response to The chef and owner Jeremias .
——- I want to be clear—I was not rude, and I was at Chef Jeremias’ restaurant for less than three minutes. He was at the register, not helping anyone, yet when I told him I was there to pick up my order, he completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, nothing. Instead, he started chatting with someone else. That alone was unprofessional, but to make matters worse, my order was wrong, and I was charged for an item I didn’t receive correctly.
As the owner and chef, he should learn to treat customers with respect. He can say whatever he wants, but this is my honest experience. I won’t be ordering from him again.
Take...
