I absolutely cannot recommend this business enough! Mike and crew were amazing. I didn’t know that a 5 AM wake up call to fish could be so enjoyable. My boyfriend and I were one of the last on the boat. We signed in, we’re assigned a number that our fish were tagged with, and picked our rods. Mike is so animated and you can tell he and his crew enjoy what they do. His kid is even a deck hand. You can tell this is a family business and everyone’s got a role. I really liked this over the more “corporate” experiences I’ve had on other charters. Once we got set up, we headed out. It was a slower day, but my action picked up in the afternoon. Boy was I amazed when I hauled in my salmon! They don’t guarantee fish, but I’m glad I got one. Just watching the joy on peoples faces when they reeled in the hogs we were getting was more than enough for me if I didn’t get any fish. Went out with Capt Mike on the Lovely Martha, action was fast paced and crazy. Met a couple regulars, Terry and Steven and the deck hand Andrew. Good group of people and really good energy. Mike runs the family business and sometimes his dad comes out on the boat. They have been doing this for 4 generations and it shows! Mike is well connected and can put the boat on fish, leaving it up to you to catch them. They provide quality tray bait anchovies, the good stuff, and fancy penn fathom reels and rods, included. You just have to buy the 40oz weights, but those are sold near cost at $8/ea, much more reasonable than the $17/ea at bass pro shops. Him and his crew will run rods up and down the boat, over and under and the energy is very positive, fun and family friendly. They also validate parking so you pay $14z. Hohoho!! Limits by 9:30 with some nice 20+ lb...

Unfortunately my family and I (total of 7) went fishing on this boat this week and were highly disappointed not only because of the false advertisements but the lack of experience we encountered during our trip. Not only our group 7 but the other half that was on same trip did not catch barly anything the captain failed to put us on the meat during our trip to catch anything. The deckhands seem uninterested & unwilling to help (one of 2 tried a little bit) anyone but theirselves n friend. We really feel we got robbed of our hard worked money and experience of what should of been a good fishing trip!
