I happen to drive by this place on the way home one day. I love checking out small pet shops in the city outside of Petco and Petsmart. This store is by far one of the best pet stores in SF. If your pets diet is important to you, you seek top of the line food choices, natural, grain free, healthy, and a variety of GOOD options, don’t look any further. Not to mention compared to other stores like Petco and PetSmart, prices for the same food are extremely lower. I love feeding Weruva cat food to my cats and that brand is pricey regardless but I found the prices here to be priced under almost anywhere else I checked online. I also stopped while shopping in store to look up many of the brands they had as I had never see some of them before and wanted to do my research before just picking one. After my personal research I also asked for suggestions from the blonde woman who was working and she solidified my choice by suggesting one of the brands I was going to go with. They know what they’re talking about. The dogs and cats that roam the store and say hi when you walk in are lovely as well. So well behaved. Even the ca didn’t mind my dog checking her out (my dog loves cats and has been around them her whole life), from the treats offered in the jars up front, to the many choices of healthy food in many varieties outside of just kibble, litter, and toys are truly exceptional. I haven’t tried the bath spa yet for my dog but I will be soon! Anytime I can bathe her somewhere else besides my bath tub that is a welcoming and clean environment where there’s less chance of her slipping (wood floors not tile like a lot of bathing places) because of her age is always a plus for me. I also asked if they had any pet sitters/house sitters they knew of or could suggest for a trip coming up and (I didn’t get her name) the woman at the register with short brown hair quickly printed up a list of possibilities and was very forth coming about her thoughts and ones she thought I should call which was so very helpful. I went there for the first time less than a month ago and have been back now probably 3 times. Oh and I also bought a frozen bone broth and after getting home and defrosting it, there was a hole in t)3 package and the contents of the broth defrosted all over my counter. I snapped a few photos, weighed what was left and went back the next day to see if there was anything they could do, because I didn’t have the actual product with me because there wasn’t much left after the mishap I didn’t think they would be able to offer much of anything outside of maybe an apology and to tell me to check it better next time? I didn’t know what I was hoping to get by going back but I was pleasantly impressed when she credited my account the full price of the bone broth with no questions. Great...
Read moreHands down the best pet supply store in sf :) We love Pricilla, and have met the owners and they are amazing as well. They have a great selection of food & anything you’d need for dogs and cats. We usually stock up on food, and lots of treats, bulk bully sticks, and chews. Lots of natural/ organic products and the staff is super knowledgeable if you have questions or need anything. They are also super dog friendly, our girl literally starts sprinting when she knows we are going in. It’s her favorite place, we always joke if she ran away this would be her first stop. Thanks for...
Read moreExcellent place to find some nice quality meats for you raw feeders out there. Now I come here for their selection of one ingredient treats for my pup. Their prices are somewhat average for the area, but you're getting quality stuff in one place and usually leave with a few bags of treats at a time. They've also got dehydrated treats as well like chicken feet, salmon skin, minnows, etc.
I used to come here quite frequently to buy their Fromm's dog food because it was one of the only places in the city that sold this brand years ago. They still carry...
