I love this place! Great people, cool items you can't get anywhere else, artists, music (up stairs), all hard to beat. I live just down the street and get music lessons with Fang Yi twice a week. I see written above that someone took their money. I know the people who work there, Yi (the owner), her father and mother, and a well known painting artist, Chung. None of them would try to take your money. They don't have time for that stuff and don't mess around. Only Yi speaks English, so if someone was speaking English it wasn't the people who actually work there. If anyone ever has a problem, find Yi, or talk to me. Don't go in!!!! the man in the counter just stole $20 from us. We just wanted to buy some earrings and he said cash only. My friend put a $20 bill on the counter and three $1 bills. While she was searching for the rest, the $20 disappeared. We all saw it. He pretended like nothing was wrong and asked for $20 more. There's nothing we could do and we didn't want to ruin our morning by calling police for $20. It ruined our experience...

This place is very dishonest. I went in and bought a stamp with my name on it it was $50 for the material $40 for engraving. I had him $50 and 2 $20s, he quickly put the money in his pocket. I told him that I accidentally gave him two $50 bills that were stuck together. He said no and he didn’t want to take it back out to show me. Refuse to give me my money back.
