Would give ten stars if I could. Tim's passion is sound and audio equipment. This is obvious as soon as you start conversing with him. He is supremely knowledgeable and dedicated to his craft.
I've worked with Tim over the past few years on a number of purchases: a set of tower speakers, a record player, receiver, and amp.
On every purchase, Tim took several hours to listen and understand my needs/budget. He then recommended what he believed to be the best option, all while answering questions and providing education on the thought process behind his recommendation. When needed, we scheduled demo sessions so we could listen/sample different equipment.
Tim is opinionated - but that is because he has an encyclopedic knowledge of the space. He is an audiophile at heart, and wants everyone to have the best listening experience possible. Google says "in store shopping", and I wanted to shop locally, so I drive 5 miles, to be told its "appointment only." He didn't ask me what I was shopping for, as I could've conducted my business mostly, at the door. There was nobody else in the shop except for one person, eating, obviously a friend not a customer.
