i have been buying parts from this location for quite a while now and have gone as far as to open a shop account with them and use them as my primary parts supplier for the shop i work at. here is my issue. upon receipt of an invoice i noticed they charged me tax on a core which i had out and ready for pick up when the part was delivered. when i asked for the updated amount they would not take the tax off the invoice. when i pointed it out to the delivery driver he said i either want the part or i don't and left it at that. so i paid the amount and proceeded to contact the local store manager on duty Jesse. read him the invoice number and explained the situation. the resulting response was check my math because his checks out. Wrong response. tax rate in my and his area is 7.75% which he agreed with. the cost of the battery is 107.89 which means tax should have been $8.36. instead they charged me $9.76 plus a dollar battery fee that nobody could explain to me what the charge actually was. now i know $1.40 is a meaningless amount that most of us don't even care about but this is one transaction from one customer and i guarantee this is not an isolated incident. and its not the amount that matters, you cannot put a price on integrity.
just curious if they actually report this extra little bit of capital to the irs or if its swept into someones...

At 11am on 2/10 this male employee unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he was seemingly running the floor at the time. It was my first time returning oil and I came in, asked if I can just drop them off and was told yes go ahead. I made 3 trips with 9 bottles, and waited for the okay before taking off.
It was then this male employee started on 10 and instead of just telling me the policy about returning containers, he’s barking at me about there being “too many containers” and I have to wait for them because they “didn’t want them.”
Thinking that he was seriously on one, I perused the before opting to go to the car. He then chased me out of the store, asked if I was waiting for the container and when I said I didn’t want the containers he threatened to call the police, took a picture of my license plate and ran back inside.
Overall a pretty terrible way to handle the situation. I think it would’ve been the more correct response on my part to speak with a manager. He escalated the issue to a BEYOND unreasonable place and I hope this establishment can do better overall in the future. I’m a human being before even being a customer and I feel he didn’t even grant me...
Read moreI can’t say enough for O’Reilly auto parts. The evening manager Kyle surpasses any manager or store associate in any auto parts store. Very friendly, very helpful, and very accommodating. I swear by O’Reilly auto parts. I walked into the store told one of the men that my car was admitting a code. Kyle the manager quickly jumped to my attention. He said no problem I will run the code and see what the problem is with your car. He stopped everything he was doing. He then came out to my car, ran the code, and it was the mass air flow sensor. He brought me into the store noticed that I had bought a mass airflow sensor before. He told me it had a lifetime warranty. He said no problem, I will go out to your car and replace the part for you. He came out replace the part and the car worked great. He was so nice and professional. You don’t get that kind of help at other auto parts stores. That is one incredible manager and O’Reilly‘s auto parts scored when they hired him. I tell everybody about my experience at O’Reilly auto parts. That manager Kyle is going to end up running...
