After many years of wanting a nose piercing I finally got one at this place. The price was a bit steep, $54. The venue nice and clean. Service was lackluster. They sold me an upgrade to a bar +$15, so I did. What I didn’t realize is that they sold me a gage that was too short/small for my nostril. The piercing was quick and they don’t provide any paperwork on self care. The piercer, Chris, was short with words and even shorter after the piercing was done. Sadly, as a “professional” he never examined my nose or the jewel I bought to see if its a good length. They basically will pierce whoever comes through. The first week was painful! With a short bar the pierce was SINKING into the hole. I kept having to push the jewel up numerous times a day. After the swelling went down nothing changed. The pierce looked as if I had an extra large pore on my nose that was a jewel. Totally self conscious about it for two weeks I finally got it looked at by another piercer at Players, Inc. Sure enough I was right! The bar was sinking in my nose which could of caused infection and growth! I lucked out by not getting neither! I replaced it with a proper length “L” shape jewel and what a difference it makes. Relief of pain and uncomfortable pressure! I would not recommend anyone to come to this place nor will I come back. They got my $ and thats it....
Read moreOver several years when I have walked in I have felt like the staff is very stand offish, never greets you, not friendly, bothered to do their own job.
On a Thurs in Feb we had one GREAT experience with the front staff member. If memory serves she was blonde and about the only person in there that’s friendly. Piercer that day was female and was semi okay but also seemed not very friendly.
Went back Fri 2/21 in the afternoon and the purple hair girl was definitely not friendly and the dude up front also was not friendly and never greeted us at all. The purple hair girl did help us with what we needed but even that was somewhat rude. I asked for a certain jewelry to take home for my bridge piercing and she said in a rude tone, that’s for a tongue and it’s a 14 gauge which my bridge is a 14 gauge and I use my own bar and just change the balls but since she never made eye contact she never noticed.
Just an overall not friendly shop. I have never seen or met the owner but if this message reaches the owner, I think you could do some training in customer service.
All it takes is “welcome in, let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you find something”.
I wanted to like this place because it is a super cool concept...
Read moreMy daughter, on a whim, decided to pierce her ears when she passed by this shop. I spoke to an employee who showed me options and pricing. She asked the age of my daughter and we told her she was 5. I told the employee that I wanted to make sure she understood what she was choosing to do and we would be back if she confirmed she still wanted to do it. After some time, my daughter said she was ready so we walked back. I was approached by a different guy who asked what we needed but already seemed like he knew exactly why we were there. I said we decided to go through with the ear piercing and he asked her age. He told us that they won't do children under 6., Ok that's fine, but perhaps tell me that information the first time we were there. It wasted our time and it was disappointing for my daughter who had mentally prepped herself for the experience. Would not recommend since they don't know how to communicate and just be upfront from the start. Spend the $95 (titanium setting) it costs there to do...
