Hot Topic — Local services in San Jose

Went into the store to return something that was 30 days old, but I had the receipt and the tags were intact. The male employee at the register, on 6/19, (wearing a hat, had piercings) looked at the item I was returning, examined almost a full five minutes as if I was returning a diamond ring or something. It was a hat for $26. Then he proceeds to ask me why I’m returning it past 30 days. I thought “whatever” and I told him my answer. Then I want to buy something else and I had a coupon that has no expiration date and I said can I use this coupon for this one item and he said that’s way expired. I knew there was no expiration date, but I didn’t want to argue with the guy. I said OK and proceeded to put the coupon back in my bag. Then he said I’ll throw it out for you. I said no it’s OK and put it in my bag. He proceeded to try to get it From me stating “but it’s expired”. I guess he couldn’t understand why I wanted to keep it since he kept insisting it was expired.. I said OK. What does he care if I keep it or not only probably because he knew there was no expiration date on it. Annoying and very poor...

Great deals and merch. I took my niece and daughter here and they manage to find some gems in this store.

What I liked about this particular shop is, we were greeted by genuine employees. It wasn't a fake greet but someone who really takes the initiative to acknowledge incoming patrons.

Store was clean, organize and stocked. The displays were nice. Shop is really spacious I have to say and has some extra room towards the back area of the store. It was nice and roomy in between isles which is so important because some shops try and stuff everything in that it becomes a blur but they did a great job on the lay out here. Merchandise is off the chain 😎 here and they also have a rewards program so don't forget to sign up if you did, plug in your number, you may have some rewards. My kid who is 13 years old looked pretty cool in her outfit the next day, wish I snap a pic but...

Manager (I think it’s the manager?) seems quite rude. Idk maybe she had a bad day, but she spent the entire time I was there complaining about her job. I needed a bunch of different sizes with t-shirts, but was too afraid to ask cuz she seemed hella on edge. Then I made a mistake and left the stuff I tried on in the fitting room. I don’t try things on often here and thought I was suppose to leave them since they don’t have a place to hang unwanted items. She got mad at me and was like “you’re not suppose to do that and now the door is locked so no one can get it”. I apologized and got the Hell out of there asap. The rest of the staff seemed very nice though. Hopefully, she has a better day next...
