Paramount Imports — Local services in San Jose

I was so tempted to leave a five-star review, but keeping to my pathos of not giving five stars unless something is truly perfect (which is impossible for humans as we are now) I cannot give it five stars. I would give Paramount 4.9, as it is as close to perfection as you're ever going to get with these types of stores. To be honest doesn't even feel fair to lump Paramount in with them as it's just above and beyond comparatively.

It really doesn't get better than Paramount. Like their name, the quality of their product and employees is indeed; you'd be hard-pressed to find a more fair, down to earth, and humble shop. They've been around since the '60s and it shows, whether it be through their hippie era decor, the atmospheric music, the incense, or just the good vibes, they have it all.

Most people, like me, probably just come here for the glass (and the employees, too! Especially the doggos), and they definitely don't disappoint. The prices are on point, if not below market, and while the display pieces can be a little brittle (it is expected) their main standard rigs are very durable and well made. They also have quite a stunning selection of accessories and add-ons.

I really don't know where to stop so I'm going to stop here for sake of reading purposes, but just know if you come here you will not be disappointed; it's truly a wonderful world in a niche location that I think more people need...

I called to see if they had a special item in stock I was looking for. The guy on the phone went out of his way to go through the racks and search for the item I was hoping to find. I was so impressed with how helpful he was, I drove to the store to see for myself what wonderful customer service these guys offer. Although we couldn't find the exact shirt I was looking for (that's understandable, I was looking for something very specific), both of the people working there were so helpful and really tried to satisfy my need/desire. One of the best experiences I've had in the bay area! You just don't seem to come by people like this anymore in San Jose. They were awesome, and the selection in the store was great. Paramount imports seems to never age ive been going there ever since i could remember probably around 25 years and im 33 paramount imports has one of the most chill atmospheres out off any store ive been too. The people that work there Never rush you they have no problem answering your questions and are as patient as monks they give off good energy and the store is full of good energy. Its a great experience. I would recommend going there to anybody that wants some cool stuff rather it be for tort smoking needs or some random stuff such as posters stickers or incense or some good crystals or birthstones it's worth checking out that's all I got to...
