Starbucks — Restaurant in San Jose

Considering it's located inside a Target rather than being stand-alone, I was initially reluctant to try this Starbucks location out as a study/work spot. But I'm so glad I gave it a try: there is usually no crowd on weekdays (or even weekends) since folks seem to stop here only briefly after their Target run to pick up a quick take-out drink, the one table that's near the electric charge point is usually available and I tend to use it for my laptop, the staff has always been SUPER friendly and rarely seem to mind if I study their for an hour or two, their black drip coffees are great and pair really well with their chocoloaye chip cookie. Now their chocolate chip cookie deserves it's own separate review: they arelarge in both diameter and thickness, just the right level of sweet, and when warmed (the barista is always happy to do so), they are softand dripping from the generous amounts of milk chocolate chips. The crowd at the nearby Target checkout lines (especially the tiny tots) is a pleasant distraction when the eyes need some rest from computer use. I went there all the time for on my day off. Most of the time I have great experience. Staffs were nice , happy and give us a good service. However, there will be no luck sometimes, yesterday I came for my usual visit, the girl saw me but I can tell like she not even wanted to ask me ,,, few minutes she came and asked what did I want for my order ? ( with her upset , angry face ,,, I don’t know what wrong , I guessed she just have a bad day !!! I would like my coffee to make like that alllll the time so of course, I know how much I would pay but she end up with $1 more than I used to pay ,, I asked her then she said : the price went up ! Hmmmm $1 not much but if it a mistake or if she charges someone by her feelings then that a lot to me ,,, I end up told her : never mind ,, I ordered online at Starbucks close by and the price still the same I just got my coffee earlier today, the prices not going up !! I still go to Target tho , that my favorite store near where I live and I won’t let that girl to ruin my day ,,, but next time if she serve , I might ask someone else or need to talk...
