King Eggroll Express - San Jose — Restaurant in San Jose

Went about 5 mins before closing. Very nice night crew. Ordered chicken wings, veggies and pork egg rolls. The only problem was the egg rolls. They cooked them fresh for us which was nice. They sucked though. Took them back, less than 24 hrs later, not even asking for a refund. Just an exchange for the same amount in Chicken. Oriental lady was very rude and told me I should have tasted them before leaving the restaurant, even though we didn't have time at purchase. No Customer Service. My only point is taste EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU WALK OUT OF THAT DOOR. STAND IN LINE AND TASTE EVERYTHING! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. I was VERY NICE. My bf and I frequent this location and we've never had any issue. The staff is super friendly, the portions are massive and the food is always good.

Today was no exception but while watching TV and eating I felt a crunch in my beef and broccoli. Ngl I thought it was a fingernail (to give you an idea of how hard it was) and I was having a mental crisis thinking I was chewing on someone else's fingernail. I reached in my mouth and pulled out a metal thing. Kinda like a bread tie? Not sure what it is or where it came from but I know it's not supposed to be in my food.

Again, this is a great location, food and service are fantastic. I've never had this happen to me before so I was really shocked and I definitely won't be coming back for a long time if at all 😩

This place used to be a good bang for your buck. Servings used to be overflowing. But now, they cut off the quantity of the serving they put on the combos. Then when my husband & I asked for 2 small cups of water which they used to serve, they said they no longer provide that. Just 2 cups of water but they can't provide it. What type if restaurant cannot provide just a cup of water? Deplorable attitude from a server who is supposed to be serving their customers. We used to eat here often, spending $40-50 per meal, but we've finally decided we're not coming back. There are better Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants in Milpitas/San Jose....
