Stopped by the store to get a stamp placed on my pochette insert. The store was completely empty and the sales associates were completely uninterested in helping my friend and I. From experience, we know that the stamping process typically takes ~15 minutes depending on how busy the store is, but they were adamant that it would take 24 hours. My friend asked if 24 hours was standard protocol and mentioned that this was a service she received relatively quickly in other countries. Eventually told us that we could come back in a few hours to pick up our items. Exactly 15 minutes after we exited the store and were on our way to El Yunque, LV called and said that our items were ready for pick up. I asked for my stamp to be placed in the lower left-hand corner to match other stamp I got in Osaka. The stamp is much too far from the corner, and there is gold out and around the stamp itself. I really love LV, but I am sorely disappointed in the customer service in San Juan. They failed to make me feel like a valued customer and...
Read moreWorst experience of my life. My husband and I was looking around for shades and a bag. First time walking in the lady at the front asked us if we needed any help and we told her no thank you we are just looking. She proceeds to follow us around the entire store making it seem like we were stealing. I was very uncomfortable so me and my husband decided to leave. There were only a few people in the store and there were alot of staff members around the store so it wasn't necessary to follow us around the store and be so judgemental. We ended up going to gucci and brought a gucci bag and shades. The people in gucci were more respectful, nice and didn't follow us around the store as if we were stealing. This lady in the Louis Vuitton store is judgemental. I will not recommend shopping here. Especially if you are a person of color. I didn't get her name but this is a picture of her. Also this is the picture of the gucci bag I got. The lady at the Louis Vuitton...
Read moreI don’t know if Louis Vuitton just doesn’t want to sell products or if they actually want to lose money, but they have an older female employee at this store who acts like she’s a major shareholder. I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but first of all, you’re just a store employee. I walked in, and she was looking at me and talking like I couldn’t afford a bag—when in fact, I was about to buy one for my wife’s birthday. Because of the way she treated me, I left and bought it at YSL instead.
If any employee or manager is reading this, do something about it. Don’t judge people without knowing them—you’re just employees, like in any other store. In Puerto Rico, that whole strategy of treating customers badly or following them around like they’re going to steal doesn’t really work. All it does is send the sale to another...
