Club Soleil Tanning — Local services in San Leandro

This place is horrible, I paid for a monthly membership (which includes a sign-up fee) and have only been able to use it the once when I signed up. I've been told weekly since their machine is broken.

Edit: So I'm not sure why the owner Paul responded to me below knowing full well their spray tan booth has been out of working order in some form or fashion for most of a couple months now and his staff told me twice that it goes out periodically but since I cant respond to that here's the edit. The first occasion I showed up and couldn't use my membership I was told they had to reorder a part and it would be days, a week later it was working but they only had clear spray and the next day the drying mechanism in the booth was not working so you had to drip out the door, the last time I went in they only had bronze and no clear spray.

There is apparently a second spray booth at the site but I heard a customer told it hadn't been fired up in a year so they'd could use it at their own risk but the shop couldn't be responsible for a "nightmare tan" whatever that could mean but every time I've tried to use the membership I paid for has been a pain so I wasn't about to risk whatever their version of a...

My husband and I have been coming here since they very first opened years ago. Since Covid, all new staff, DOUBLED their prices and now just plain rude and non-caring attitude. Owner knows he is the only tanning salon in the East Bay and knows people will pay his prices no matter how high they are. I went to tan and unfortunately my card could not be run for my monthly membership 4 days prior because it had expired. I was told I could not tan that day even though I promised I would call later that afternoon with my new debit card number (I left my wallet at home). Never mind, I still have points I could have used, or borrowed points from my husband’s account. Went tanning here for the first time. Carla was amazing, she explained the beds to me, showed me how to work them, went over pricing. She was exceptional. I been tanning my whole life, so I know what a good bed is. I went in the 12min bed for $16 and it was very hot, but I don't feel like it gave me as much color as it should've. Normally, one tan would get me pretty dark. I am going to go back and try the regular bed for $11.60, it's 20mins. I'm not from California, where I'm from you can go in a high powered bed for 20mins for $15. I feel like if that bed would've went for 20 I would've got a lot more color. I'll repost when I try the...
