I work full time as a Power Lineman, and my family and I travel ALOT to say the very least. I give the wifey all the credit for finding us this little gem, and I’m so happy she did. We have lived in many different RV parks all over California, and for long periods of time. We’ve learned exactly what to look for and what to avoid in a park, trust me. #1… this park is clean and tidy. I can tell many of the residents have made this place home for 30 plus years. There are Some older model RV’s here, and some brand new, but everyone keeps their spaces so clean and neat. This is their HOME and it’s nice to walk through a quiet and clean park. #2…Friendly…the staff are like family to everyone here. The wife and I met Dave (manager) when we first rolled in. He came out to greet us right away with a wave. He is very personable and respectful. Also knowledgeable of the area. He offered up some good info on nearby restaurants and shops to check out. Anything we need, Dave is on it! For not just us, though you’ll feel like a VIP unless you’re on the poop list. Anyway, as we’ve stayed here for a few months now, we’ve grown to like this place even more. All the residents are hard working families that I can see. Everyone smiles and waves at each other here! I’m just not used to this good country, family type feel in a park. There’s a good peaceful vibe here FOR SURE. #3…safe. There’s no riff raff, ghetto loud music blaring all hours of the night like we’ve had in the past, no cops rolling thru etc. since our stay here. All good vibes. In closing, I ALWAYS do my homework before moving my family into a new park. I’ve read the previous reviews as well and I think it’s sad that the very few that have been asked to leave the park for not pulling their weight and doing their part in keeping this place clean and safe etc, are the ones leaving a single star. Take a tour for yourself, and you’ll understand. Wifey and I absolutely love it here. Oh! I almost forgot George! George is the on site maintenance man here and I swear he works harder than me. He’s always helping people with something, doing landscaping, mowing down weeds, driving around in his tractor to deliver propane from their on site propane service. He’s the nicest guy you can meet. Anyway, don’t listen to the haters. Everyone loves this place. See for yourself and have a nice day! My apologies for the novel...
Read moreTrailer Haven became a safe and welcoming landing pad for my family's 7-month stay while I took on temp contract work in the area. My wife, 2yo daughter, and dog are super grateful for Dave (manager), George (maintenance), and our friendly neighbors. No other RV community would accept our vintage 1972 Airstream due to its age (over 10yo) even though it's in excellent condition. We appreciated the diverse community, location, and affordability. Dave is a standup guy, straight to the point, yet personable and honest. He has done a great job of cleaning up the community over the years and keeping it safe for young professionals, retirees, and families like ours. George is the warmest guy and despite his older age deserves a medal for all his hard work. My daughter enjoyed seeing him riding in his cart and he became a grandfather like figure to her. We must have gotten lucky with our friendly and generous neighbors as well - there really is a sense of community and willingness to help out when in need. Of course, no RV community is totally perfect - our parking spot was closer to the entrance and near where the garbage trucks pick up the dumpsters and sani dump so it can be a bit noisy during certain early mornings of the week but we got used to it pretty fast. Overall, I would highly recommend TH for temp workers and the like looking to live in there RV's longer term. Thank you...
Read moreWe stayed at Trailer Haven for 13 weeks on a Travel Nursing assignment in the area. There were other options a few dollars cheaper, but we are so glad we chose Trailer Haven. First of all, the Manager Dave was extremely helpful and professional through the application process. Once we arrived, the on-site maintenance guy, George went out of his way to ground guide me into my newly renovated space. While living there, we felt very safe on property as Dave and George went above and beyond to make the community a safe Haven.
We noticed that there were regular maintenance projects that kept the park maintained, and George was really on the ball. Talk about a good thing where other parks fail. The laundry rooms were modern and clean. The neighbors were nice.
If We ever had any questions or needed anything, Dave was always friendly and available. I viewed a few other parks in the area, and though cheaper, they were run-down and looked like a crime scene about to happen. We absolutely made the right choice and truly enjoyed our stay. We even miss Dave and George after a few days on the road. I highly recommend Trailer Haven for any travelers who value a safe, clean, well maintained and managed...
