Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in San Leandro

Man, if I could give 0 stars, I would. I get that they would be going through some rough times after ol' Papa outed himself as a racist, but he's off the board, and heck, I liked some of their pizzas... why not give them a try. Well, I placed my order online (BBQ chicken bacon and Buffalo chicken if you need to know) and the notification said it would take 25-35 mins. Awesome. I'm a bit hungry, but I can definitely do that.

Well, come 50 minutes later, I look at my email where the estimated time has long passed, and it has a link to "TRACK NOW" and check on the status of my order. I click on the link, and it says "delivered." Oh heck no. Did this man deliver my pizza that my tummy is crying for to my juniper bushes or a neighbor or something?

So, I call the restaurant and ask them where in Narnia is my pizza? They get my information and say that it's "on the way." I say, "well, if it's 'on the way,' why does it say it's been delivered?" Her answer was, "that's what it says when we leave the restaurant." I said, "WHAT!?!? What kinda backwards logic is that? Especially if you have an 'on the way' status? She basically just said don't worry, it will be there. Thanks. It took twice the amount of time you said it would and your delivery tracker is messed up. Awesome.

That alone would be bad enough for me to just completely forget about this place, but then when I finally got my pizza 30 minutes late... it's the most bland pizza I've ever tasted in my life. Like straight cardboard cheese with a hint of BBQ and the other one tastes like cheese with a little bit of Buffalo sauce... really? That's not the way to bring your brand back from the grave. Just go gently into that good night, Papa John's....

.I should have avoided this Papa john's location. I read the reviews and still ordered. I'll never order here again. I will stick to mountain mikes, pizza guys, and Papa Murphys. 12-5-21 I figured I would order a pizza and watch wwe nxt war games. I had some Mike's hard lemonade in the refrigerator, so I'm like a pizza plus alcohol lemonade; it sounds like a great Sunday. Well- my was estimated wait time was 20-30. It was more like an hour; then, I got a notification saying my delivery was here and which it wasn't. I called papa john's they said the driver would be here in 5 mins. It was more like 10 mins.

So I finally get the pizza. As I bite into the pizza, it tastes like a few days old. The cheese and pepperoni came right off the pizza. It looks like one of that cheap pizzas you get from the Grocery store. I'm sure Walmart $10 pizza taste better than what I had last night. I should be offered a refund. Or free pizza...

Worst Pizza place I've ever been to hands down. I place an order online got the ready notification was excited it was pizza time Lol got to the place was told my order wasn't read. Had to wait another 5 mins just to be told my order was actually ready the guy didn't speak any English so he was giving his guess to what I wanted another guy ended up handing me my pizza. Which turned out to be burnt and under cooked do t know how that is possible barely any toppings the pizza just looked like it was made the day before and they just got lucky someone else ordered the same thing never again will I go back rather eat...
