Delivery was just OK. They caused minimal damage to my walls (upstairs delivery for one of the couches so understandable, no nicks, just scuffs, easily able to paint over). Forgot 2 of my pillows and additionally delivered a wrong pillow to me. The gentleman who delivered tried telling me I was wrong multiple times even though both of our invoices matched for correct amount and description of pillows, and tried to get me to sign for delivery several times even though it was wrong). I had to walk down to the store (I live downtown SLO, so minor inconvenience for me, but could be major to some) to resolve the issue myself and they fixed it right away without question, no apology from them, which is OK also, just explained why they were confused.
Would definitely purchase again from Couch Potato and Andrew would be the guy you want to ensure your needs are...
Read moreI ordered a couch from Couch Potato. The couch was very uncomfortable. The back cushions were so stiff as to keep one from sitting back comfortably. I was told by a salesperson that the back cushions would loosen up with usage but this did not happen. After many weeks of me walking on the back cushions to loosen them up with no improvement, I complained again. I was then told that I could order softer filling for the cushions at a cost of $35. When the softing filling for the back cushions was delivered, the delivery person admitted that the back cushions were done with the same filler as the seat cushions. Then, he said that the cost of the new fillers would be $100 instead of $35.
I was also told when ordered the couch that I would also receive two pillows with it. After there were no pillows, I was told I would receive the pillows when the store received pillows that matched the couch. I never received...
Read moreI ordered product in November 2013 and it arrived very early December. The install went well until the final piece was unpacked. It was damaged. I sent a photo to my store contact and he said he would order a new top for my cabinet. It is now August 1, 2014 and several unanswered emails since with my install still not completed. Every time I called I got an answering machine. What worked was walking into the store. The sales person I had originally was not at this store but the San Luis Obispo folks were quick to take care of the problem.
